Ver fortunate kayong family, kahit foreigner yan asawa mo napakadali nyang ma adjust sa buhay pinoy at napakahaling ng tagalog at ilocano nya. Very intelligent ang asawa mo at napakabait. Dahil din sa husay mong magturo, compatible talaga kayo. Im married to American too for more than 20 yrs. 2 words lang alam nya GAGO !!! At baboy. Mabuhay kayo at God bless you all

New subscriber. My mom is from Pampanga (she came to the US in the 80s). My dad from the US but he's half Ilocano (half white). I wish wish wish he would have allowed us to learn the language. Hats off to you for being American but willing to embrace Pinoy lifestyle. Even though my dad is 50%, it was still a constant battle for my mom, she compromised on being English only but made sure we were around her family enough for the food and values. But I will say, not learning Tagalog as a kid and trying to learn it at 30 brought me here to your channel so cheers!

Yes! I was born and raised in the US. I first went to the Philippines when I was 19 and lived there for 2 years. Lots of practice and many years later, we are here 😁
