Revisiting some older animated shows, we have the first season of American Dad which premiered back in 2005. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised at how well this first season held up. Comprised of the original 7 broadcast episodes for season 1, along with some additional episodes from season 2 bringing the total to 13, this first instalment made for a very fun collection of episodes. For sure, I would recommend this series - especially if you prefer something which detours away from Family Guy's style of humour - but with the same quirky family aspects.
