Stan's mom made him kill his childhood dog.

Ok let’s see the childhood of Stan His dad was an asshole who left them for some unknown reason which was himself most likely. He went on to become a jewel thief and criminal and lied about it to is son for decades. His mom tried to cheer him up sometimes then he started to play with dolls so doesn’t end up like a sissy, but in doing so he looses his child after taking in his father’s work and skips the milestone of youth which has his inner child lay dormant for years. Then he looses his dog and looses connection to everyone he meets. His Grandad was no better than his dad, and made him and his half brother pick between some land his great-great-great grandfather won in a baseball game and some money. In all of this his life sucked so hard, Steve maybe lazy and a nerd but his dad didn’t fair any better. Haley is (possibly) someone else’s daughter since Francine was scared of being married and had sex with some random dude in the 80’s. In doing all of this Stan started out in the series as a small minded racist/prejudice somewhat child abusing, egoistical man. But over time he learns to become a better person maybe not entirely the best but he’s getting there.

@SuperMarioFan 3001 nah, but I just put the pieces together and ai might have misspelled some words that’s my fault but you cannot deny this childhood sucked so hard, so when anyone seems to be getting better he kicks them down. Steve trying to excel in science, making girls like him regardless of fat, black, skinny, etc... so when he feels like he’s getting ahead in life Stan knocks him down. Haley is a free spirited, open minded environmentalist and wishes to bring down capitalism and racism. So he keeps her down for her ideas might be better than his. Francine his own wife wants to make a name of her own, so he keeps her down see she’s like other modern women who refuse to be put down as the man should be dominant over the opposite sex. And when his future self came back in time, he was a grown and evolved man. Who realizes the mistakes of how he treated Francine and his family. Clouse was an Olympic skeer who could’ve won the gold but for some reason the CIA has his brain switch with a fish, he’s been living in their house for years (which was longer than your average fish lifespan). And every now and again Stan treats Clouse like crap and does bull shitty things to him. Roger is an alien who’s been on earth for decades when he started living with the Smiths he acts like a douche and asshole every now and again. But when he has a chance to be a somebody like he feels at the top of the world he kicks him down. Stan is a selfish asshole, who thinks he’s the center of the universe and when his family gets a chance in the sunlight he takes that away.

So both stan mom and dad were horrible parents then?
