Jimin was truly in his elements with this one, wasn't he? It's like the song was actually made _for_ him and his stellar showmanship. Thank you for your reaction. I've come across comments saying how this choreography didn't live up to their previous standards but obviously they did not understand what contemporary dance is all about. Your reaction and commentary is a testimony for BTS

Shahrizat Jailan thank you so much for sharing this!! I use to equate the level and/or quality of work based off how difficult something is. But I’ve grown over the years and realized it’s not always about complexity as it is the impact. Just like for a song that has barely any words and a simple melody can make a person cry overwhelmingly. If there is opportunity for strong connection, that too can make a great impact. Which this choreography did. I really enjoyed it! Thanks for watching friend 😊

One more thing...I really appreciate how you let the video run all the way through without pausing every five seconds, and THEN discussing your thoughts in detail. I love it when true dancers eactors are able to recognize all of what’s great about these performances (including the set decorations, vocals, and complexity of their moves and storytelling). Don’t know how you popped up in my feed, but I’m glad you did!

MsCoCo8799 I’m so glad I did as well!! What a detailed observation, I appreciate you for that. Among being a dancer, I also have a theater background and I’m a vocalist as well. So I try to observe art on all levels of the production. Because it’s a whole bunch of reasons why this and other works are great!

J-Hope actually got kicked in the face by V in this performance. He said afterwards that he nearly passed out, but you barely notice anything in the performance!! His professionalism!!!!!!

Love your professional reaction. They all practiced so much to be in sink with each other with complex choreography to show and tell story in such way. I'm glad you loved it. I loved it. Kids trying and getting out to test other boundaries in combining pop type of dance with contemporary style.

Basil Chun no seriously, I keep watching their performance and their ability to move to alike is incredible. Even for members that I wouldn’t consider extremely strong dancers, move so close to people on the dance line. That’s incredibly impressive!

Yes! Thank you for recognizing the boys dancing contemporary. So many "fans" were disappointed by the simpler choreoraphy for Black Swan but as you said, not everyone can dance contemporary or other genres as good as they did. Props to these boys for taking the challenge again, especially to Jin and RM! They've improved so much that you can't even tell that they used to be the weaker dancers. Much love 💕 💜💓

Beatrice Tuason I’m really surprised to hear these critiques, but I guess I shouldn’t be. I was just telling someone earlier that harder doesn’t always mean better or more substantial. Some people won’t get that, but it’s clear you do!! Black Swan is a work of art. I love the choreo! 🙌🏿

Contemporary is such an underrated art form and I'm glad that BTS is using Black Swan so that more people will be able to appreciate it starting with their art film and now their own choreo. It takes a lot more strength to control power choreography. Going with the flow is hella easier. I love that they take advantage of the small beats in the music to tell the story. PS .. Suga is a master, rapping on pitch! ART!!!

Thank you. I would love to see the tutorial for Black Swan. I think either the begging part or the chorus should be fine. I really appreciate your positive attitude and all the praises towards the members. Some people like to point out "this member can't dance" or "this member is the worst dancer", so I truly appreciate a reaction from someone who understands and acknowledges that there are no bad dancers in BTS. And I can say that nearly all of them are dancers. Watching this video back over and over again, I really just how AMAZING Suga looks!! I enjoy your channel. It’s hard finding genuine channels. A few kpop reactors are fake but I enjoy people that share dance videos or talk about performance from other groups because I use to be a dancer (not a professional dancer but just for fun dancer). I use to dance for a dance company, I usually take combo classes(hip-hop, contemporary, ballet and jazz). I like your vibe too.

Idk if you are still doing these reactions but I think it would be a great idea for someone to make an evolution of there dancing. Like how they have improved from 2013 til today. Not just the choreography but their talent then vs now. I love watching them but I would love to watch something like that.

I love how you showed yourself dancing. So many videos say dancer or singer reacts, they probably dance in front the mirror in their underwear and sing in the shower.

They’ve atempted to bring a little bit of contemporary feel to their choreography before. Watch Butterfly and Spring Day and you will see it. But of course BS is at another level.
