Thanks Kevin and Lisa for clearing the confusion away, but I wonder why I couldn't comment regularly in the comment box 😅 I've found a way out here in the reply box .

GOTTEN (chiefly Canada, US, Ireland, Scotland, Northern English, or archaic) past participle of get The American and archaic or regional British usage of the verb conjugates as get-got-gotten or as get-got-got depending on the meaning, whereas the modern general British usage of the verb has largely lost this distinction and normally conjugates as get-got-got in most cases except, sometimes, where the speaker wants to emphasise getting something. Gotten has also survived in adjectives, especially in ill-gotten gains. There is an increased usage of gotten in the UK (specifically England), which may be due to influence from American films and increased access to American programs in Britain. However, it is still less common than the get-got-got conjugation.

This is a very good “reinforcing” lesson. Thank you. I’ve learned that you don’t make questions from ~I have got~ such as Have you got? but use ~Do you have~ instead

Yes, it's true that in American English we can't say "Have you got a car?". However, although not so common now, this construction is possible in British English.

Good job! 👏👏👏 Hi Kevin and Liza! I’m Andrey Diagel from Russia Moscow. First of all, I’d like to thank you for everything you both are doing! Not only does this important, it’s vital for learners to speak in a right way, in terms of grammar etc. it might be crucial for those who are planning to pass English exams, where one mistake matters. I’ve just seen a video from Dave’s English, where he is complaining about you criticise those who pose him/herself as engl teachers. But the truth is that you don’t. You ‘re just saying “this is wrong” and nothing else but the right answer. It’s not a criticism, it is help for those who want to speak correctly. It’s called Democracy, isn’t it? You don’t insult anyone, you just say what’s right, what’s wrong. Btw, it’s also ur choice whether to let other people leave their comments or not under ur videos. Thank god you don’t live in Russia, so you have an option how to live and what to say. Thank you both!🙏
