Bro , You are trying to get in to Centurion Lounge with ur travel card. Only Platinum card (metal card) and Amex centurion card holders (Black Card) are allowed inside that lounge. You could have went to some other lounge in the airport. It's not Amex fault they clearly mentioned in their website.

@@umangtaneja1 centurion lounges are only for Platinum Or business platinum or Delta skywards or Amex centurion card black card. No other card will be permitted inside, everyone knows this. Because u were not aware of it u can't blame amex. If what u said is true (which is not) that they let u in with a normal amex card before, fine now they must have made it clear only premium card may enter its upto them giving privilege to premium card holders. Normal card amex cost betwn 500 to 10000 yearly, but platinum cost 70k yearly it's not wrng for amex to give privileges to premium customer

That’s not a metal card man, that’s a normal travel card. Only metal cards are accepted at Centurion lounges. Please go through the terms and conditions and block your card as you exposed all the details

You are holding Platinum Credit Card, instead of The Platinum Card. Maybe 2 years ago their policy allowed, but now not allowed, I believe if any change of service terms they did send notification, and AMEX reserve the right to change to policy as well.

I believe every year they will send you the updated benefits, and also if there is changes of benefits, they will send out notification by email. If the staff told you this card is not eligible now, but you think the staff provide wrong info, please contact the customer care line instead of upload video to youtube. If you insist to know when they change the policy, please contact customer care as well, and request they check with relevant team. As not all the first tier staff know, if the changes is long time ago, maybe during the time the staff not yet join the company, it is not their fault, or the company fault. So please be a matured customer. Using right way to seek assistance.

I’ve flashed my American Express (metal) Platinum Chargecard all over the world and have never once been refused entry…. You must have a low level card for them to refuse you. I’d recommend you upgrade your card and you’ll no longer face these issues.

It's very clear and obvious that he has asked the same questions multiple times and he has asked the nth time to that lady while recording the video. Hence, she had to walk back inside ... Amex platinum reserve used to work and never amex platinum travel. Now only Amex platinum/centurion is allowed. You have clearly embarrassed yourself.. and take down the video. Showing your card details etc... Even if there is a theft your insurance won't cover you, cause of your negligence as you have publicly shown your card details. Also, you can see the images of the card which is allowed on the glass wall.

Mr taneja, i work for American express India office, there are only two reasons for your denial in the lounge. 1- the lounge is full 2- your card doesn't qualify for entry 3- there is no other reason. please take an upgrade on the card to enjoy these benefits for the cost of the card annually. you are always welcomed to check out the terms and conditions.

The AmEx card you hold is credit card - for centurion lounge, you need the Amex Platinum charge card, that has no limit. It's ignorant to see people don't read their emails and check their airport lounge policy - if you dont want the new changes, then fcking cancel the card and leave. If you cant afford the annual fee, then dont try so hard to fit in where you cant even afford it. Money can't buy class. People are always entitled and remain arrogant. I think, there's an alternate way to get into some lounges. That's priority pass. Usually it charges some 30-50 USD for lounge access using the card for which priority pass membership is created.
