Hi, we are the Backmans! We are a travel adventure family that loves God, life, and people from around the world. To date, we have traveled to 30 countries on six continents and we love being together as a family. We are so grateful to all of you for supporting, watching, and being part of Our Backman Family!
A year and a half ago, we visited the Philippines for the first time. Our channel took off. We were so excited. We have been back three different times (for a month each time) and we have a lot of great footage and videos of the people, beauty, and fun of the Philippines. I hope on your return to PH, you can also experience the different festivals here. Like this May 15 will be the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon Province. (I know you've been to Quezon Province before when you went to Villa Escudero, but this is a different part of the province.) The Pahiyas Festival is one of our most popular festivals where the houses are decorated with colorful rice leaves and produce!

My sister is recovering post-operations and we basically enjoy watching your explorations since we stumbled upon your EK adventures. Your openness, love for adventure, and positivity are inspiring. And as we learn more about you, guys, it's fun to see our nuances in culture. We appreciate how much positive reinforcements goes into your children everytime. all of your phil adventures I watched them twice. Suggestion..I noticed that Filipinos loves non-filipinos cooking their cuisine like pansit, adobo, lumpia etc. You can cook one dish or the boys can do it. Cook whatever filipino food you like, that is one way of incorporating filipino videos in your channel even if you are not in the Philippines. I would love to see the boys do it, they are actually amazing cooks. give it a try :)
