Kit has always been one of my favorite AG characters! I don't have the doll, but I love her design and I remember seeing the film when I was little :))

She is a great character, that’s for sure! I think I would like the doll better if she wasn’t a classic mold but for some reason I’ve never been drawn to her, other than wanting my hair cut like her when I was a kiddo.

It really is! I remember thinking some of the historical outfits were “ugly” back when I was a kid. Ugh I wish I would have appreciated them back then!

Thank you for making this video! I already owned all the pieces that AG rereleased for Kit, so I didn't get any, but it's interesting to see how they are so I can mentally compare to the originals. It was very sweet of you to make this video for folks even when you weren't feeling well. I hope you feel better soon!

Kits outfits are so cute! While I’m not in love with doll I do like her school outfit a lot!!

I do think her outfits are much cuter than the doll herself. I love the bob and freckles but the classic face mold has never been my favorite

Thanks for making this review! I have these outfits but some are older and I didn't know if the newer ones had been taken in to fit the newer bodies. Also! For the little comb it works best to point it toward the back of the head, upside down, scoop up a little hair with it, then flip it over and push the teeth back toward the face while going deeper into the hair to put it in place. It's weird but that's how folks used combs back in the day! Practice makes perfect 😉

I got Kits school and birthday outfits when I went to AG(I did get #108!)for my Kit doll! I am so happy I got to get some of her historical items because I have a historical Kit. The Velcro on the school outfit was so hard to get undone which really did suck. I wish the AG material was the same as it used to be but I know it will no longer be the same.

I can tell your voice is scratchy, but it’s not bad at all. Thank you for making this video. My daughter collected Kit and since she “too old” for dolls, I passed in these newer redone outfits. She has Grace and the blue sailor PJs already. I should have gotten her birthday outfit as it’s my personal favorite, but she’s not my doll.

Thank you! I most likely won’t be keeping my Kit as she isn’t my favorite doll and is in extreme TLC condition. I got her for free and am planning on using her to practice re-stringing and restoration. In the meantime she’s a cute model for her collection 🥰

Thank you so much, I appreciate it! Hubby is doing well so far, we are just looking for answers and hoping future heart episodes don’t happen. I’m feeling a bit better but definitely ready for my voice to be back to normal.

I can never figure out Kit’s hair clip either, I just leave her hair pulled back with an elastic and shove the clip in there, lol.

You really have to kinda stick the hairpin from the first outfit as far into her hair as far you can!! It never looks as good as their picture, but it's something. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Her birthday outfit was one of my holy grail outfits, so I was thrilled when they brought Kit and her whole collection back!! How cool your grandma had similar dresses made! And I wasn't going to get the PJ's until this sale because they're not anywhere in Kit's story, but I'm glad I did so I completed her collection! Love Kit in blue!! 💙

Just a note: They did NOT bring back her whole collection...they didn't do her Christmas, Winter or any of her Summer outfits and accessories, and none of her furniture. On the topic of the historical books...the current ones they have are abridged. I highly recommend for the older characters (Kirsten, Samantha, Molly, Felicity, Addy, Josefina, Kit, Kaya, Rebecca, Julie, Marie-Grace and Cecile) to get the original 6-books, and for the ones that came out during the BeForever days, get the BeForever books. (Example: Maryellen's abridged books completely deleted all 4 chapters of her Christmas story). I think the only historicals that currently still have complete books are the newest ones (Courtney, Claudie, and the twins).

@@AmericanBoyCollectAmericanGirl Yes, I meant her birthday collection when I said whole collection! And those are the ones I am collecting; I was frustrated when I first learned they are only printing the abridged versions now!! They're just not as good as the originals!

Your voice doesn't sound that bad! Just feel bad you are not feeling your best! Thanks as always for sharing the review! Glad your mini of your grandma has some new outfits perfect for her time period! She will look gorgeous in them! That is disappointing how Grace is for that price! I have the ORIGINAL coconut and he is HEAVY. I don't think it's plastic inside but I'm not sure. I'm not gonna step on him to find out! Haha he's the only pet of that scale I have from AG (I have the hamster lol and non ag pets)
