There is an American girl living in Malaysian jungle - Let’s find out why and what’s going on there
Welcome to episode 121 of my trip all around Malaysia. If you haven’t seen the previous episodes you can watch them here:
➡️ • Traveling Malaysia - A...
Kedah roadtrip: Somewhere in Kedah, Malaysia, deep in the jungle there is an American girl living on a farm. She has been living there for almost a year, helping out on the farm together with the family who runs the farm. Coming from the US to the jungle in Malaysia must be quite a huge different for her. How does she adjust to living in the jungle? Why is she doing it? Let’s find out.
I am currently traveling Malaysia - all around the country - and try to find as many hidden gems and stories as possible. I am going to stay in the Kedah state for around a week, so if you are interested in more Kedah vlogs, Kedah tourguides or some more Kedah food tours or Malaysia vlogs in general, stay tuned for more.
➡️ GET YOUR SHIRT HERE: www.kenabroad.com
---------------------------------------
After the Corona Lockdown, it is now possible again to travel Malaysia. In the next weeks I will travel Malaysia (all around the country) and make daily vlogs about it. I will show you how to travel Malaysia, how to do backpacking Malaysia and show you what it's like to solo travel around this country in southeast Asia. So, if you are interested in backpacking southeast Asia in general or specifically interested in backpacking Malaysia, then this series of my Malaysia travel vlogs might be interesting for you.
How is it to travel Malaysia after the Corona lockdown? Will there be tourist or will I be the only one? How to travel Malaysia on a budget during this time? We are going to find out all of this in the upcoming weeks, daily vlogs from now on, documenting my whole trip traveling Malaysia, so stay tuned, if you are interested in travel Malaysia by yourself or travel southeast Asia in general 😊

You won’t see much tourist places in my videos, I rather like to show the “real” sides of each country in my videos. Where do the local people go to eat? Where do they hang out? How do the locals travel through the country? Stuff like that.
There will be almost daily uploads on this channel, so if you want to join my trip and start traveling southeast Asia together with me just subscribe now and start the journey together with me. Join the #teamabroad community here and be part of the travels around southeast Asia.
After traveling southeast Asia and backpacking southeast Asia for a year now I can truly say it’s my dream destination and it is unbelievable amazing. It's quite easy to travel on a budget in southeast Asia, which makes it so popular for foreign visitor to come and travel around here. The cultural diversity in this part of the world, the food, the people and the beautiful landscapes, beaches and mountains make it my absolute dream right now to travel southeast Asia. Kampung life, Malaysia's best kept secret. I moved back to my kampung in Perak since the pandemic started, and appreciating the slow pace and non stress living after living in KL for 20 years, folks are much more easy going and friendly, cost of living is sooo cheap which helps during this pandemic, and makes me reassess my priorities, that money is not the most important thing in life.

I like this so much, I rewatched it a few times at one go 🤣🙈 I think aside from health benefits of organic rice farming as mentioned in this video, if you were to do commercial farming in a location like this surrounded by nature and so close to the natural environment, you would be ruining nature and ruining the soil we are blessed with. Although like Spencer has mentioned it, organic farming is much more expensive right now, but it is not just a price we pay for health but it is also a price we pay for the responsibility to our land. Especially appreciate how they think of and try to lower prices so that organically grown rice can also be afforded by more people. Just a huge appreciation to all these special people (this farm and even miin house camp) we have seen through Ken and Jetlag Warriors' channel so far. Glad we have so many talented Malaysians so knowledgeable and working hard to create more sustainable efforts within the country 💪💯
