So fun to see 30 straight minutes from the point of view of a total stranger, who bared witness to an event I've tried to make most every year since 2000. That'd been cool if u had managed to catch my car in your video, but as I seem to recall in 2013 my boss wouldn't let me off work that Friday so I probably missed it. But it was fun watching. I also got a kick out of your running dialogue. Very raw & organic-- u guys were just simply reacting to what u saw in the moment, and it was cool to catch a glimpse in the world of the people on the sidewalk. Because I'm always the guy in the car on the route! And for me, the view never changes, as far as looking at the other cars. Anyway thanks for the video. I literally found myself glued to the full 30 mins. And don't worry about the comments from those who scoff at your missing some names of cars. My sense is ur about a generation younger than myself, and not all people know all these cars by sight.

Yes, it's hard to get down there every year, and the weather is hit and miss. Sometimes, decent, sometimes 100-deg +

0:29 "Who is that?". I'd never have known had I not seen the ceremony that preceded the cruise on video.

the Modesto p.d. and the city council COMPLETLY DESTROYED graffiti night!! if you were there in the late 80's you know what I mean. back then mchenry was totally crowded with top notch hotrods, restomod, and restored cars. the last year I went, there was a very nice restomod. I think it was a 67 fairlane, big slicks and a very nice paint job. it was bumper to bumper, as it always was back then. his engine was heating up from idling. so he was revving it up, holding the rpm up, so the fan could cool it down. two oinkers came up, and started hitting the car with his Billy club. the guy got out, understandably pissed off. he decked first the one that hit it, then the other.....which he was more then justified in doing, protecting his property from CRIMINALS!! unfortunately, he went to prison for breaking one of the criminals jaw. that year, there was like 250,000+ people, and thousands of cars, from as far away as japan. the shop keepers made more money in that one weekend, then they did the rest of the year combined......good job Modesto.......if you were going to give the world an enema, you'd stick the hose in Modesto
