I don't understand why so many people disliked Freak Show. It has some of the most heartfelt moments and really was beautiful.

I can't believe people think this season was the worst. It didn't need paranormal back stories or anything; the thing that made this whole season beautiful was the emotion. The straightforwardness of Freak Show is what made it amazing!

American horror story is more sad drama than horror.

for me this is the most emotional season of AHS. it was like the goodbye of lange from the show and the last breath she took at the season finale really got me. i dont know why people dislike this season too much, if any, hotel was the weakest season, but even that one was intriguing.

This season was so sad and tragic I felt so bad for Elsa in it

While watching Elsa sing and everybody laughing at her and throwing popcorn at her made me sad. I actually for one love her voice. It just made sad. She wanted to be famous. And oh. This season was definitely by far the saddest one.

I feel like this is the most underrated season, like people always talk about how they hated Roanoke and Hotel and how they loved Asylum, Coven and Murder House but nobody ever talks about Freak Show and it makes me sad

I cry every time I watch this, no one like you Jessica Lange, gonna miss this amazing woman! No one like her.

I can understand why people would dislike this season it wasn't you're typical horror junkie cheese film like some of the past seasons. It was a genuine gut wrenching gritty drama with some of the most imperfect yet identifiable characters I have seen in any show. Sure there were probably too many arcs to follow and many probable drew on for far too long but it gave us an deep insight into the characters and there transformations throughout the show. I think this is why it was such a hard and sometimes uncomfortable watch. The emotional roller coaster it took you on felt like you were with them the whole way .... especially that Pepper scene !!!

The Best season of AHS by far. I Always felt as if I was watching a movie when this came on every week, and I felt emotionally attached to the characters . Asylum is a close second.

I was so sure I wouldn't like Freakshow and well, hands down, it turned out to be my favorite season. Not so creepy and scary but magical and sad.

Far and away the most well written season. Particularly the first half. Possibly the best season premier of any show ever. And this haunting version of life on mars just went so perfectly with the theme of the season.

do not get why people underestimate this season. Personally it was a great season, nostalgic, sad, scary, deep, everything else. This is one of the best for me. Ryan did an amazing job.

Best season for me is definitely Asylum. Unlike almost everybody i liked everything about that season. But Freakshow really comes close. Then probably Murder House would be my next favorite. I hope Jessica Lange comes back and future seasons are just as awesome and chilling and badass as before. 🎃

Freak show is one The Best seasons of AHS.

One of the most brilliant and beautiful displays of the human condition, Frailty, and darkness since murder house and Asylum those three seasons are absolutely brilliant and will probably never be duplicated again thank you for the darkness and beauty more people should explore those more often and gain a greater understanding of who and what we are. Hotel deserves an honorable mention for its brilliant storylines and individual characters.

In my opinion, Freakshow was the best AHS season so far, and it was by far the saddest. This was a great video too, it really sold the feeling of despair present in the entire season. So sad. :'(

My order of favorites (that I watched): 1 Freak Show 2 Murder House 3 Coven 4 Asylum 5 Hotel Tbh I can't really decide if Freak Show or Murder House was the best. Coven was ok and the storyline was easy to understand but still interesting. Asylum could be made waaay better than it actually was, it could be freakier. Hotel was just really boring but nobody seems to agree with me. That made me not really wanting to see the new season. Is there anyone feeling the same way?
