Alyssa sounds like a million other contestants. Her friend that was rejected is more interesting and has a better shot at standing out! Plus that was rude to try to outshine her friend.

I loved how many of these singers put such heart, soul and feelings. They made me really feel what they were sing about. I don't know if I am explaining this right but it is what I felt.

Now, I gotta ask myself. Why did the producers set up that thing with Allyssa (you know they did)? It looked phoney to me, and in any case it's low hanging fruit if you're just trying to create buzz for your show. If you wanna audition for American Idol, just bear in mind they do stuff like this, so guard your heart.

hope people remember how Alyssa inserted herself into this audition just trampling over her rejected friend. I wouldn't vote for her no matter what she sings.

i am so upset they didn't take that blonde girl who was singing Bowies song. Or at least aske her to sing something else. I would like to hear her more. She seemed interesting as personality and had an interesting voice tone. Big mistake not to take her.
