y’all know that over practicing, especially when it’s vocal, can have the opposite effect right? but sleeping for a couple hours and letting your voice rest up, then warming it up and practicing again is actually the best way to get a good performance.

I’m one of those people that think sleep is important regardless of what happens in your life, so I completely understand her and she never had to apologize

when you're performing on stage, you need to be at your best, both physically and mentally. Rest is just as important as practicing.

Sleep is just as important if not more then practicing till all hours into the night. If you’re expected to use your body in order to accomplish a task, whether it’s singing, dancing, etc. you need to take care of it and one of the best things you can do for yourself is sleep and rest so that you have the energy to do what is required of you. Americans are so soft and easily insulted and I’m not surprised one bit that Carina felt the need to bring that up to judges. No one deserves an apology when you’re doing what you need to do so that you can perform to the best of your ability.

Wow, she kept a smile and stayed silent while being thrown under the bus by her singing partner! That is grace actually. She refused to be apart of the drama.

Seemed like Karina wanted to throw Nutsa under the bus so she would advance if anything and Nutsa would not. That was shady to blindside your duet partner like that even after she still came back after what seemed like a short nap and tried to get you both pumped up for the performance.

Nutsa has really, really put herself out there and seems very genuinely sweet as well as professional. I hope she goes far on AI this year. So much competition this year that I could see her in the top 3 if she can work on the diction just a little. I am pretty excited for all the contestants and I think the judges are just amazing.. I cry with joy every time I watch the judges encourage and sincerely enjoy their positions on this platform.. This season is right up there with the beginning of the pandemic season..

For some reason, it sounded like the one girl slept with someone instead of practicing with her co-partner. But, instead I find out that she was actually getting beauty sleep for the event. I see nothing wrong with that, AT ALL. Why is the other girl taking practicing way too far?

Yes good for her getting through but I'm SO SORRY TO HER FRIEND! Why allow yourself sleep and not your friend? TO EVERYONE- YOUR HEALTH IS VITAL! RESPECT YOURSELF TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! Allow your body rest when it needs it. We don't do 100% if we don't take care of ourselves. I'm diagnosed with epilepsy and that proper told me to listen to myself. In July last year on the 11th I still went into school despite hay fever but at about 12pm it went south, I had an absence seizure. I do want to work hard but I know I've got to listen to myself. HEALTH IS IMPORTANT! SELF-CARE IS SELF-RESPECT! There's nothing wrong with allowing yourself a break when needed.

This is so atupid. People dont understand that everbody is different. I can go with only 2 hours of sleep and can still perform during insane work days. However, that doesnt mean I deserve praise or am "better" I have so many metabolic and health issues that Im sure not getting quality sleep doesnt help. Having the self awareness to know your body needs a break and actually give it that break is so commendable and shouldn't be looked at as weakness. Not listening to and giving your body what it needs can kill you. Also Katy, whether you like her or not is seasoned, has experience and has done this for over a decade now. Contestants who get to live shows havent had the access to nutritionists and fitness coaches pro singers and perfomers have to condition and train their bodies to do this. Asking all of that from a young singer who has a passion but has never experienced the toll that industry takes on your body, isnt fair. I cannot even begin to onow how exhausted and tired she must have been
