Abi Carter, an American Idol finalist, visited her old Palm Springs VillageFest street corner to meet fans and kick off her "hometown visit" to Coachella Valley for the finale of the show. The visit will culminate with a parade and free concert in downtown Indio. Carter, one of three finalists, will also visit her alma mater, George Washington Charter School in Palm Desert. The finale will air on ABC on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT and stream on Hulu starting on Monday.
