the world loves this next american idol!

I play his performance songs a thousand times, and the more I do, the more I am liking it..... I cry all the time. I watched his Homecoming video last week, I can see in this guy purity and honesty, towards the end of his homecoming video, singing a song and he cried when said "I am leaving, I am leaving, but the fight still remains" that touched me a lot.

Lol I love the "I'm gonna try to win the thing alright!" like he's arguing with a fan.

For me, all this emotional crap is great TV, but for me it comes down to who the best artist is. Lee doesn't need to be the shy kid who worked in a paint shop. That's Hollywood bullshit. He deserves to win because the guy can sing - and because he's got a ton of potential. For me, he's still shy up on stage and hasn't shown how good he can be. Dammit, Lee, give me some Joe Cocker. I've been comparing the two vocally for awhile.
