Just a couple hours after landing at Heathrow Airport, I took my BFF Tracy to see one of the BEST GARDEN CENTRES in England! Come with us to explore the massive Burford Garden Co. We have lunch in the café and wander the expansive store as well as the outside portion of the store. See what is on offer at the Burford garden centre and be amazed at the selection of products for sale and the SURPRISES you see as you browse them!
Please SUBSCRIBE for more British fun and adventures. Cheers! XX Dara

I love our British garden centres 💚 We are a nation of gardeners. Garden centres have really re-invented themselves over the years. They are the perfect place for a spot of lunch. The one in Burford was no exception - yum! The food areas had such attractive displays with some unique foods on offer. Seeing the cactus (or cacti!) reminded me of Arizona 🌵🌵Oh wow, the vintage football table was interesting! Beautiful roses - with lovely names 🌹Thank you, Dara & Tracy for the fun tour! ❤

Indeed! I've been poorly and therefore binge watching a series on Netflix called 'Chesapeake Shores'. It's typical American fluff, but is fine when you're laid up on the couch, but even they had a character who went to 'London' and trotted out the usual tropes about 'warm beer' and 'terrible food'. Amazing how these WW2 stereotypes still persist in the US.

What a beautiful garden centre! Nice to see one of the best garden centres and great to see Burford! wow. Japanese maples are so gorgeous, love the vibrancy of the leaves. I'm quite a flower nerd if i'm honest, there's something about a garden centre visit that makes a wonderful day out! So I really enjoyed this. The food selection was so yummy. The terrine and the prawn brioche rolls, wow! I think Tracy has the right idea, all the desserts hehe. Amazing placement of those hydrangeas in the bath tub! Hiya Dara, I had a look at your channel last night, and there's some vlogs I've never seen, so this morning I watched you de clutter your belongings that you've been hoarding, about 3 months ago my friend Phil (aged 81) and Christine (aged 71) said "Choppy can you declutter our attic" I said "Of Course I will", I thought I would of been there about 20 minutes, its took 1 hour 40 mins to get to clear the attic, what I brought down was a back seat from an MG Midget that they didn't know they had, I also brought down 40 pint glasses and The Queens Hotel in St Bees gladly took them, the things I've kept are 4 Newcastle United hoodies, 3 I bought at St James's Park and 1 Zest Whitehaven, gave me when I left, I've also kept A Newcastle United Shirt also from Zest Whitehaven, when I left and a Football (aka soccer) ,shirt for the Great Britain, 2012 London Olympics, all still have the tags in and prices on the tags, Americanisms that brits hate, is up to 7 thousand 8 hundred viewings (WAY TO GO),this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England

With the weather lately, I don't imagine they sell much from their watering department 🤣 There is nothing like an English garden...or garden centre.

There is a fantastic motorway service station on the M4 at Tebay just before Penrith in Cumbria and a partner one on the M5 near Gloucester run by family and stocked with great local produce. The one at Tbay has been going for years and provides a wide range of fantastic food and foodstuffs along with clothes etc. there was a tv series about them a couple of years ago. Made me homesick for the lakes.

@@MagentaOtterTravels this was a second series. The first one was all about Tbay; of course I'm biased as I come from Cumberland (the original name of cumbria)
