The Mexican mango or more specifically the Manila mango actually came from the Philippines that's why it's so sweet and it tastes like the mangoes you found there

Kelvin is usually hilarious. He's won over by another Pinoy dessert. Ordered this along with the most loved dishes bam-i, chicken cordon bleu etc for my partner's birthday last year. This float taste even better when it's kept extra cold and firm. Most peeps appear to prefer my mom's leche flan going by the leftovers. The extra fruit toppings, mostly berries balances a bit of the sweetness of the flan, which some peeps found the syrup too rich and too sweet when someone else made it. When mom keeps a close eye and it isn't overcooked, it tastes nicer when it's creamier and lighter. She also seems to have cut down on the sweetness in the recent years due to papa's diabetes. One of my friends also has lactose intolerance, but thankfully nowadays there's a pill for it, so she was still able to eat the foods. Thank God, I grew out of my dairy intolerance when I used be sick etc from eating dairy after a small amount. I only eat a bit of oats and wheat in bread in particular when out and about.

YES! Mango float, one of my fave desserts! Mas masarap pa sana kung pinoy mangoes. But that'll do. Yummy! (I think yellow mangoes are best for this recipe because of its distinct taste. There's sweetness, a little tanginess. Perfect for the palate!) ***Pansin ko parang ayaw nang umalis ni Ladelle. Ako rin usually nagpapapak niyan sa party. Kanila na yung lechon at cake pero yung mango float mahirap iwan. Hahaha!
