As a British person I wanted to clarify a couple of things: - black pudding is not spicy. It tastes like a more crumbly sausage/stuffing mix - we do use bacon like this (not smoked meat) - I’ve only seen people fry fresh mushrooms, never canned - we don’t flip the egg - I haven’t heard anyone have honey in Earl grey tea before - normally we have milk and or sugar You are right about the spices and I’m happy to learn about the kettles 💖💖💖

I think she meant “spicy” like literally has spices, but isn’t the “hot pepper” type of spicy. I’ve never tried black pudding but I do recall hearing that it’s made with certain spices, couldn’t tell ya what they are tho lol

J P plenty of americans like milk in their tea, but i personally don’t prefer it. if you were served tea they probably wouldn’t offer milk but if you asked for it nobodys gonna be weirded out or anything. honey & lemon are used to get rid of some of the the bitterness without changing the flavor too much like adding milk would. sugar does the same thing as honey n tbh its just up to preference which one someone might use

Can I tell you something that rocked my world recently? Apparently hash browns originated in New York. I just think of them as such an English thing that it made me rethink my life. I'm from the UK but not English so idk if that's why I didn't know this, maybe everyone is aware and I'm dumb. But yeah, according to Wikipedia the first documentation of hash browns is from NY.

Yeah seems like so much meat ... I’m from the US and I’d say the classic American breakfast is a fried egg, two slices of bacon (or sausage links/patties but not both) and either home fries (or pancakes instead) and a side of toast ... but this still looks really good to me

@@cait8846 southern U.S. would be eggs, biscuits, maybe some type of gravy.. sausage gravy or red eye gravy, bacon, sausage or country ham, grits with butter, salt and pepper for sure. Maybe hash browns. Cheese added to really any of those based on preference. Grew up on a farm in south Georgia, so eating like this especially on the weekends, was the norm. Oh.. and yeah pancakes or waffles on occasion.
