I adored how much loathing the Queen had for Alice. It's like waking up one day and your right hand thinks it's better at running your life than you. It has a list of reasons why and it know everything about you. It despises you.

When I first fought the Queen of Hearts, I was running into the battle, furious that she had killed the Cheshire Cat. I didn't even care about everything else in wonderland, I wanted to kill her just for him.

Fun fact! Even though Cheshire was decapitated, he actually *isn't dead!!!* If you summon him in the boss chamber, he _will_ appear and give you his usual generic advice! Cheshire simply cannot be killed under Alice's rule. The reason for this-- I think-- is because Cheshire is acting as her superego. Always demanding to right the wrongs of their world. Alice wouldn't want to ignore that, regardless of his sharp and lovely tongue.

That just technical mistake, Cheshire Cat deed indeed die but was later revived when Alice killed the red queen

@@spinozilla2421 Of course it's a technical mistake, but I still felt a lot better summoning him in the boss chamber. Cheshire is my favorite, I even have a tattoo of him.

@@babbisp1 In the original PC version, you summon him the same way you do any other time. By pressing C. But I have something even more interesting. If you use the debug menu to spawn his model into an area, his pathing will follow the player. He'll walk behind you, and sit down when you stop, his head turning to watch you wherever you go. And if you get too far away, he even has a cute little run animation to catch up! But he can't jump, so if you leave him on a platform alone, he'll just sit there and stare at you. If I recall correctly, I think this was because he was originally designed to join you in combat, but the game devs scrapped the idea.

That's because they, like the first phase of the final boss, are part of "The Heart of Darkness"/the real Queen (second phase).

This particular song in the game gives me serious PTSD, because I played this during a time when I was in a seriously messed up situation with someone who was ruining my life. #OffWithHerHeadIndeed

Jeez, I was just way too young when I played this game. All of the bosses, especially this one gave me nightmares. I'm so glad I played this, though.

@@andrewtarasenko2976 Ye the gameplay is maybe not the best there. But for the Time, its an epic final with the music, sound and design of the arena and nightmarish boss transformation. Dungeon Siege 1 also had a similiar scenery as Final Boss. I dont know but i think fighting in pure darkness, only having a few plattforms or limited floor to move, feels great. Youre fighting the nighmare/devil himself and love that.

@xxlisaheartsmakeupxx This song shows up in the latter part of the game. I forget where but I could work it out or you could hear them in a walkthrough that someone has posted here on youtube. But I went through and tried to organize the music in the order that it appears in the game or the area in which it was meant to be a theme for.

At the first time i hear the song and see the appearence of the red queen, it was so scary and weir at the same time, compared to the other popular desings that Disney made, this is so creepy and extrange, but more realistic of how she is, selfish and madness.

Because he had to make it for Disney. He didn't even want to make Alice In Wonderland in the first place, but Disney was deliberately withholding the film rights to something else Burton wanted to make until he agreed to direct Alice In Wonderland.

You can tell that American McGee worked closely with Trent Reznor on the Quake soundtrack. The percussion here is exactly the same as in Quake's, and since Chris Vrenna was part of Nine Inch Nails, it's easy to see how all the influences intertwine.

The wiki says that before the events of the first game, the Queen of Hearts combines with the Red Queen from the chess set, which is why she looks weird in the first game. It is also stated that once Alice defeats the Queen, everything in Wonderland resets. The form you see in the second game is probably her original form.

Also, her appearance in the second game is similar to that of Alice's sister Lizzie, who isn't present in the first game.

In this game, the Queen of Hearts is less the Queen of Hearts, and more a chimera-esque amalgamation of all of Alice's insanity and dark emotions.
