Our new Hydramax under dash kits take out all the guesswork for your pedal rod ratio. I've got an 86 gmc 1500 I've been having trouble with the factory automatic transmission. I've pulled it out and I've got a manual transmission from a 76 gmc 1/2 ton. The 76 is the linkage type clutch that I'm considering converting to hydraulic. Is that something that there is a kit for. Needless to say I do not have a factory clutch pedal in the 86. I have the pedal from the 76 I intended to use. If anyone sees this and has any words of advice I would much appreciate it. I'm honestly a little out of my wheel house here

I have a transmission from a 76' gmc 1/2 ton I'm intending to put in my 86'. I believe it to be a Muncie sm465 I wonder if you have any advice on how to be sure...edit: I'm a bit transmission illiterate definitely out of my wheel house

that is the one you use. You can cut down the pedal pad on your auto pedal
