He has a few actors (friends) at strategic points, but the rest are the general public oblivious to him. The bassist from The Verve send Ren a guitar and some self-help books, and has been in touch with him since he heard this retake, he loved it.

I can't think of a town less like Brighton, lol. The original vid was actually one shot and it was filmed on Hoxton High Street in East London. Ps, the Verve enjoyed this re-do so much that the bass player gifted Ren a guitar.

This is such a keen reaction, I really like your enthusiasm. The plants that I spotted are the drunks falling off the pavement (sidewalk), the homeless guy, the mum with a pram, the fighters. There's also a really neat stop where the mum has buried her drug addict kid and he stops at a grave shaped drain cover. I can't keep up with the adhd brain sometimes, it feels like a real super power in this kind of creativity.

It could be complete coincidence but the house he sits at at the end used to be where a friend of mine lived, and he died of a heroin overdose. I think Ren knew him also, hence the junkie lyrics and of course where he decided to end the shoot.
