Absolutely right, NOBODY comes close to BTS at all, K Pop or western. Detail, they are detailed, powerful and passionate!!! They do their absolute BEST for practice and for concert, 110%!!! Only two out of the seven had dance training, the other five had to learn, I think some people forget this because of how good they are. This is also why K Pop (BIG 3) tried so hard to stop them at the beginning, even as rookies, they posed a threat! From the get go, BTS has set the bar pretty high. Their performance choreo has been generally very artistic with a lot of intricate details of interpretation which I enjoy so much and is highly entertaining to the audience. You can always see the dedications and efforts they put into their performances and productions. The fact that this is just the tip of the iceberg of the reason why they are the greatest male group in the world.

Agreed! I don't watch too much Kpop, but what I have seen, it's not close. These guys also write and produce their music, they have input in the MVs of their solo projects... they're ridiculously talented, all seven of them. I never miss anything they do as I know it will be jaw dropping!

Ive seen intricate choreographies from other groups as well. But BTS brings in something special to each and every thing that they do. Even the simple ones, my eyes are glued. And we have to point out that at this point there's only 3 members with a real dance training. The rest had to catch up. Thats whats great about them. They move as one. Those with dancing skills like jimin and jhope matched with the rest and never overshadowed them without compromising the quality of their own performance and at the sme time set the tone, the energy and the quality as a whole. The rest also matched and up their game every single time without them looking like a sore thumb. You would never ever see that in any of their performance. And thats one way you can tell, how they work as a team. As one. I choreograph as well and perform with my own team. So i know how that can ruin a performance. It takes time to make several people work as one. If there's a member who thinks theyre better and more skilled than the others, itll show in the performance. Thats what happened to us. So for me, even with their dances and perfomances, BTS has shown their brotherhood, respect and love for each member and their craft.

Your ending comments are exactly how Army feels. We have seen other groups but for us no one comes close in performance. The entertainment value is top tier plus as people they are still humble guys just trying to give their best for their fans. Great reaction! Dance practices are always fun!

You can get a professional dancer, rapper, singer, producer, lyricist, actor,/director, physiologist, and even a comedian to deconstruct bts content and know it would still be good because we, as fans, have so much confidence in bts. I think what sets BTS apart from other groups is that never dance at the same level the whole way through. The choreo and execution always has texture. They speed it up, slow it down, they’re not afraid to incorporate several styles in the same routine. Their choreo also always tells a story. It’s not just movement because it goes well with the beat. It’s there for a purpose and to tell the story through movement.

Thank you for your honest reaction. I’m the type of person that doesn’t like to jump on the bandwagon. When I first started looking into BTS, I also started to watch content from other groups because there has to be someone better just less popular right? I haven’t found anyone yet. Not only are their performances high in energy, their message, personalities, underdog story, struggles, etc just adds to their overall like ability. They are beyond a boy band, beyond k-pop, beyond artists. They are a movement. Hoping they can reach an even wider audience and bring their positive mentality to the rest of our toxic world.

There is actually a video describing how the music industry is working against them, Billboard, Grammys, etc. I was around during the Beatles and remember them when they first came to America. I remember sitting in the den with my parents watching the black and white TV show. There were only 3 TV stations at the time. BTS is the only thing comparable to them since that time. It’s hard to compare their popularity because The Beatles did not have the pros and cons of the internet. The internet has helped reach a broader audience for BTS. When you think about it though The Beatles were a phenomenon without that. In my opinion, BTS would have also been huge without internet.

I agree with you about other groups not at the level of BTS when it comes to dancing and for me the different genres of music they are creating. I may be bias and I do try and STAN other groups, but it just doesn't compare. I listen to a lot of different kpop songs however to stan another group is a different story and I haven't in the 5 yrs I have been in the fandom. So I laughed with you on that comment. LOL

only after Bangtan made it big outside of Korea/Asian market other groups started to pay more attention to dancing and performance but.. nowhere near Bangtan. Not to mention Bangtan goes very hard and has lyrics to back em up. When others try to do it, it looks gimmicky and forced (let's not even mention lyrics cause.. no comments). You can feel Bangtan passion when they're dancing, they give their all on stage and then some more.
