To draw in more metal fans: Sleep Token's Take Me Back to Eden came out a month ago and has 2,5 million views. If you like it, then you should do The Summoning (came out 6 months ago, has 8,4 million views) and Chokehold. And Will Ramos' covers of Sleep Token songs. He's the vocalist of Lorna Shore. Lorna Shore might be a bit heavy for you, but To the Hellfire has 16 million views in 2 years, and it didn't really start to blow up until this year. If you do the Pain Remains trilogy, do them all back to back in the same video. And have the lyrics pulled up, for all their songs. Bad Omens had one of the most successful metal albums of last year, The Death of Peace of Mind. Each video has about 7-14 million views. Their newest single Just Pretend came out a month ago and has 3,5 million views. Some reactor channel metal "classics": In This Moment - Whore (Came out 9 years ago, has 124 million views.) Jinjer - Pisces Live Session (Came out 6 years ago, has 76 million views.) And I just have to: Bloodywood - Dana Dan They're an independent band and this is from their 2nd album, which came out last year. The video has 4,2 million views. (Put the captions on, if you react to them. Some of the lyrics are not in English and captions have a translation.) And it has rap in it.

continue with wacken bro, everdream, storytime and bless the child, tuomas holapainen, is the songwriter/composer, he's called the metal mozart, empuu has the best solo's in the business checkout floor's solo stuff too, covers of alone, shallow, oblivion m83, and her stuff, paragon, calm, she would be perfect in voice over animated films imo

The bassist/second vocalist of three in the band at this time is Marko Hietala. He is sometimes known as the father of metal in Finland, which is no small thing as Finland has more metal bands per capita than any other country in the world. Marko solos on some Nightwish songs including High Hopes, Kiss While Your Lips are Still Red, The Islander and Endlessness. In addition, his duets with all three of the female singers are wonderful. Marko has headed his own band Tarot, is a part of the supergroup Northern Kings and has his own album out in both Finnish and English titled Pyre of the Black Heart. He left the band a couple of years ago due to some problems with depression but is better now and out performing a great solo act of his own.

Yes, Tuomas (keys) is the main composer of music and lyrics for Nightwish. A very unique and special metal band and one of the best live bands in the world. Nightwish members play exclusively for the song, with no egos in the way. Loved it Ian. I am not much of a Ra p fan, but you musical composition is much more interesting than most Rap I have heard. Jukka Nevalainen on drums - mad pirate, time-lord, beat-master! No longer performing due to chronic insomnia and associated illness but still a part of Nightwish behind the scenes. His replacement, Kai Hahto, was hand-picked by him and had been his techie so he fills the role VERY well! ... and Marko, well... GOAT..... see "High Hopes" from their 2004 gig! Marko suffered a botched throat surgery way back and almost lost is voice completely but.... You heard it!

Gabriel likely dropped by already in your first Nightwish reaction and told which songs are great to react to but I'll still put my spoon on the pot. Floor is their third singer and I absolutely adore her and love the Floor era of Nightwish. That said there is some songs from the previous singers era that just are iconic for them specifically and some just honestly work better with them. The first lead was Tarja and she is very iconic for many. Her performance with Nightwish "phantom of the opera" live is worth to check, Marco is her duet partner in that one.

They don't give the title of "Metal Mozart" to just anyone 😉. Also I highly suggest having the lyrics available to follow along with (or use the captions when able) just to appreciate the poetry and beauty of the songs.

The keyboard player, Tuomas, (2•O•mas) 3 syllables, accent on the O, was the main songwriter, meaning he wrote about 95 to 98% of all songs including lyrics. Bassist/singer, Marko, who contributed to whatever was needed and even wrote and performed entire songs, left the band leaving Tuomas to be the lone composer of 100% music and lyrics.

bro the valkyrie queen can hit the G5 pretty esily, the bassist/backup singer is marko hietala, he retired in 2022, they have a new bassist but no backup singer, marko was with NW 21 years, i call him odin, checkout everdream, storytime and bless the child from this same concert, one of the best rock n metal concerts of alltime imo, right there with rainbow's munich 1978 concert

Deep Purple and Uriah heep both did symphonic rock albums in the 70s. saw both twice in Frankfurt. over 2 and half years. Uriah sucked in concert, guess best studio or album. Deep Purple was awesome. Leds stairway and lynardars free bird both copies Child In Time by Purple. FYI for the youngsters.
