My friend had been vegetarian for about three years. One night he was visiting from out of town so we went out for a drink or 10. When we got back to my place I had the munchies, so decided to throw some maple bacon in the pan, he is no longer a vegetarian.

Some years ago, there was industrial action by prison officers in England and Wales, and remand prisoners had to be held in the cells at police stations. At one station, the prisoners went on hunger strike to protest about the conditions. An experienced sergeant started frying bacon at the end of the cell block - the prisoners quickly gave in.

It's true. I tried being a vegetarian for 18 months until one day I started to suffer from malnutrition. It was actually oily fish my body craved but when I ate my first bacon sandwich in 2 years, I could hear little piggy angels singing up in pig heaven.

Aaron Lowe Energy from fat, is far safer than insulin spiking carbohydrates, that vegetarians depend on for energy. I've learned to utilise fat by eliminating carbs and sugar from my diet (which also eliminates inflammation). I Lost 20kg while sitting on my backside watching television. Plus, as a bonus, I've lost my chronic respiratory problems. I'll never go back to the way I ate before.

This is part of a long show - hence parts of it you will miss - references to the Ogre the guys in running shoes ,the inventor who has invented nothing ,the soldier and the carer are all members of the audience that he has involved in the show earlier . It was a very good show .

I've seen Al Murray live at the Engine Shed, Lincoln Saturday 4th of June this year, omg he was effing hilarious, i must of lost about 2 litres in body fluid from crying with laughter and if you sit near the front be prepared to be targeted lol 😂

@@bobbybigboyyes On Keto we make bread out of zero lactose cheese. If I make cakes I use almond flour instead of wheat flour. Anything to reduce carb intake . Perfect for type 2 diabetes. I'm not diabetic but low insulin levels make it easier to control weight. I lost 20kg sitting on my backside watching television.

Love this video and I keep coming back to it, sharing whenever anyone mentions bacon! I think it's brilliant example of master storytelling and hilarious physical comedy, when you listen there's no real 'jokes' per say, and the basic story is very simple- it could be told in 20 seconds, but the embellishments, the delivery is superb, glad you enjoyed!

@@eddiebirdie1545 I fall off the wagon occasionally ^_^ It makes me bloody ill when I do, but I don't care. This reminds me of when a well known veggie pop star was interviewed a few years back and he went on a anti meat rant. He said that no-one liked the smell of bacon if they were really honest (!) I'd always thought this guy was very punchable, but this amplified those feelings massively. If I say the words Veggie and Pretentious most Brits here will know who I'm talking about ^_^

Have you visited Britain? Bacon is a lot nicer in the UK than US (though you beat us on steak / BBQs!), so if you if you ever do, make sure a bacon sandwich & English breakfast is on your to-do list. It is true about vegetarians, my wife was a veggie until the scent of my bacon butty broke her one day. Enjoy your day!

Baffles me that people lose their shit over pizza with pineapple on when everyday there are heathens out there that ruin the delightful taste of bacon sarnie with a fucking egg. Why on earth would you want to ruin that joyous experience by making it so that when you burp about 10 minutes after eating it tastes like someone took a shit in your mouth? There is an explanation of course, something along the lines of the type of people who do this also like the feeling of something warm and sticky dribbling down their chin but that's a joke that could get me in the gulag so i won't go there
