So the Nando's one with all the disappearing people stemmed from various politicians at the time making statements that the various racial groups should "go back to where they came from". The ad is from the early to mid 2010's Hence why you hear all the different racial groups and nationalities getting told to "go back" or "Voetsek" (Afrikaans for Go Away) The last person at the end represents the indigenous Khoisan people who are considered to the the true indigenous people from South Africa hence him saying that "You found us here" Nando's has often played on various political tensions in the country and its kind of how we are as South Africans, when things get bad, we use humour to help cope with it and no one is immune from the ridicule....ANY politician from any party that made a gaff is fair game
