"Memorable" is the third love letter they have written to their fans ("Smile" and "About Us" being the others). Saiki is singing about the love they felt from the fans on their last US tour. It was written as a thank you. The outside shots of Miku were filmed just outside Lancaster California.

TEB got the song context spot on. Not one of the reactors who said "This isn't the B-M i like" cos they didn't know the song was a love letter :)

The song was written as a result of the fantastic response they got from their US fans when they toured last October, it's basically a thank you to them for making them feel wanted and loved. Kanami started working on it during the tour and they finished it up when they returned home. It Debuted in January at their Tokyo Garden Theatre in January which is where the live shots come from. It also works as a straight up love song lyrically as Miku is a clever little pigeon.

After 3 long years *BAND-MAID* returned back to the US for their October 2022 US tour they were worried if the fans would remember them since last time, they performed in the states was back in 2019. But once they returned, they were pleasantly surprised on the reception they received. So surprised that *Kanami* was inspired to write a song during the tour later *Miku* and *Saiki* then began writing the lyrics and on January 9th 2023 *BAND-MAID* presented to the fans at TOKYO GARDEN THEATER. Now it is presented to the rest of the world! *Happy 10 Year Anniversary BAND-MAID* 🥳🎉 In the beginning there was a small pigeon 🐦 who met a guitarist 🎸 who played with a drummer 🥁 who went to school with the bassist 🎸 and then tricked the singer 🎤 to join the band then the small pigeon 🐦 asks the guitarist 🎸 please teach me how to play the guitar 🎸. The Story Continues.

Ooh. I'm looking and they're going to be within 2, 3, and 6 hours of me. Looking at prices and the Ultimate VIP pricing looks doable. I'm stoked. Going to definitely be going to one of the concerts.

@@TheEclecticBeard That’s awesome last year I went to 3 of their shows and the *BAND-MAID* fans are so friendly I got to the venue around noon and I was like 20th in line and they give you a number and holds you spot in line if you want to use the restroom or grab a bite to eat and *BAND-MAID* puts on a spectacular show with some fun MC moments.

@@TheEclecticBeard Go. You won’t regret it. I saw them twice last fall and will see them in Nashville in May. They’re even better than anything you see on KZfaq. Seriously. And they have a fantastic interaction with the fans that are there.

Band-maid never dissapoint, they could all play the triangle and somehow they would make it sound awesome. Found another new Japanese Artist, Haru Nemuri. She is a solo recording artist and plays with soundscapes over rapstyle singing (but she can also do normal singing and has a growl that could rivel Yukina's) . I've already got a ticket to see her in June. Worth checking out EB, any song, I think she would be up your street.

The Maids kick off their 10th anniversary tour of the original five in Houston this May. They tour the south and midwest for a month in their 2nd tour of the US in a year.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I appreciate embracing Band-Maid by American fans during their US tour. Your supports ultimately made Kanami, Miku and Saiki create this beautiful ballad with a main part of lyrics in English. I believe that is the one and only reason why they filmed this MV in the USA (Mojave Desert). We, Japanese fans, were honored to enjoy its live debut on Jan.9. I was there at Tokyo Garden Theater. The audience was soothed by two serial songs "About Us" and "Memorable", two love letters to their fans.

As others have said, this was written during the US tour last year and is about the fans. I would suggest rewatching the video with that perspective, it is really cool. Thanks for the reaction!

the band has now done 3 songs (Smile, About Us and now Memorable ) that are more like messages or gifts to the fans than they are songs for radio or concert play.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head about the meaning of this song. Yeah, they have a couple ballads, two similar to this and a couple others that are nothing like this. Their diversity in music is really something else. Ballads, hard rock, pop, thrash metal, latin fusion rock, Blue Oyster Cult 70's rock... No one can ever accuse them of being a one trick pony.
