While, some of the reactors I have seen says these things, "their lyrics got no depth, pretty simple for me to listen to." HOW YOU LIKE THAT is part of BLACKPINK's first full album released in 2020, the album is called "THE ALBUM" BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" premiered in October 2020 and reached #1 on BILLBOARD 200 GLOBAL and #2 on BILLBOARD 200 USA, (being the highest ranking ever for a kpop girl group album up to that date). moment, and has only been surpassed by BLACKPINK's album "BORN PINK" from 2022) In addition, "THE ALBUM" was #25 among the best 50 albums in the world of 2020 according to BILLBOARD, this being the best ranking for a kpop album in all of history, so far. Personally it's a perfect album, it's so good that any of its 8 songs could easily be the main song, and my favorite song on the album is: LOVE TO HATE ME As a curious fact, the songs: HOW YOU LIKE THAT, LOVE TO HATE ME and YOU NEVER KNOW are dedicated to BLACKPINK haters, since for obvious reasons they are highly attacked as they are the biggest girl group in all of history and they are aware of that, thank you for your reaction, we are waiting for the reaction of the album "BORN PINK" of 2022 which is just as excellent, that's the good thing about BP they have very few songs but they are all of a higher quality, that's why they are where they are.

HOW YOU LIKE THAT is about coming back from a dark place stronger than before. There are many Greek references in the video, a few examples are: The winged statue in the temple represents Nike, Goddess of Victory. Rosé (silver hair), in the beginning, is portraying Persephone, Goddess of Vegetation (plants, flowers) and the daughter of Zeus. One day while she was out gathering flowers, Hades, God of the Underworld, abducted her and dragged her down to the Underworld where she was forced to become his wife. The video shows her in her beautiful image, surrounded by flowers, as well as how she became, dirty and grey, staring up at the world through a hole in the Underworld. She was eventually allowed to return to the surface for part of the year, which is why we have Spring and Summer. Jennie (maroon dress) under the umbrellas is surrounded by dancers, their hands are "spiders", crawling over her face. Directly after this, under the burning umbrellas (they're rotating too, by the way), Jisoo is seated in a chair that is spiderlike in its design. The Trojan Horses at the end are a message from BLACKPINK to the world. They symbolize the fact that BLACKPINK, like the Greeks, will emerge and take over the global music world This was from their first album released worldwide). If you look at the last scene you will notice that on the inside of the dome it looks like there's an organic growth over parts of the ceiling. It's actually a map of the world that the group is going to dominate.

Hello and blessings. BLACKPINK said that they admire TLC: their sound and style. Lisa reminds me of LEFT EYE LISA LOPEZ. I am sure is Left Eye was still alive, she definitely would be their mentor amd would have collaborated with them. Much success to all of them. My favorite is Jinsoo. Dude, this seems kind of harsh. Why watch a first time reaction from somebody who is new to a group you love, and expect them to not say things like this? Lots of reactors pause and comment a lot during videos. In many cases it's to avoid getting copyrighted and having the video taken down. Blackpink seems pretty lenient, but some companies and labels go hard on it. I'm not a "if you don't have anything nice to say...." person, but this just comes across like a "you can't sit with us" kind of comment. Also, maybe consider that he could introduce you to artists and styles you don't know either.

Just to add to add to this really good summary of the Greek mythology elements, it's also clear that Lisa represents Circe (pronounced like Kirke), the daughter of the sun god Helios. Circe was an enchantress and goddess who had the ability to turn enemies into animals. Circe's name literally means falcon, and the goddess is associated with falcons. In the music video, you can see a falcon at the end of Lisa's rap and in the winter scene, Lisa is wearing a falconer's glove. The burro at the beginning of the rap is most likely someone who she turned into a burro. Jisoo represents the goddess Athena and her humbling of Arachne, whom Athena punished for being insolent and boastful. The punishment was turning Arachne into a spider. Jisoo is sitting on top of something that looks like a spider (you can see the legs of the spider). The scene with the wings probably represents "the Furies" aka "goddesses of vengeance" who are typically depicted with wings.

The images of the girls with the wings coukd also be a reference to legend of Icarus. Who flew to close the sun, the wax on the wings he was wearing melted and he fell into the sea
