As a German, I can only say that the Scottish and Dutch fans are the best guests and fans! German fans are very dull, but that's also because the German national team has distanced itself from the fans for almost 10 years, and only now are they all coming together again. It's just the beginning.

I have been to Europe during the Euro's and World Cup it was amazing, Joel notice all of these people are having fun together going through the streets. No one is breaking, looting and tearing things up. That is hard to find here in the US

I did the fan walk with the Dutch and was also at their game in Munich on Tuesday. They are the best. :) What a day it was. Wish they would win against the English. I do love the Scots (as it is one of my favourite countries, if not THE favourite), however I had the misfortune to meet only one Scottish fan and this one had to be a jerk. :D But I'm sure most of them are nice.

Hello Joel. Many of the star players in this competition are younger than you, yet in US sport, they would not have come through club academies as teenagers, but still be in college sport. Perhaps you might find a video on that? I watched women's football for years before England won the Euros at that. The main countries with girls joining the same sort of academies seem to be Spain and England. The recent U17 women's Euros final was these two. No surprise that it was the same two countries at the last senior women's World Cup. The US had been the strongest team prior to that. They recently appointed Emma Hayes from Chelsea to try to turn it round. Note, even Bayern Munich have UK players in both men and women's teams now, though I am not sure about their German language skills.

You've got the Copa America going on at present, also the World cup will be on your doorstep in 2026 USA, Canada and Mexico so if you get the chance then go to a game, or games. If not then go to a match in the UK, or Europe, or anywhere else for that matter, because there's a world of difference with the fans and their support, and those in the USA. Apparently American fans, from what I've been told, and also seen, they're not "allowed" to be as vocal and celebratory as those in the rest of the world. Especially when they sing, sometimes songs are made up on the spot, as a reaction to something that's happened in a game, and then it'll take on a life of its own, if the song catches on, then it spreads to other teams and countries too. There was a time when things were vastly different with the fans, fights in the grounds and in the streets near the stadiums, but that is, hopefully, in the past. Best behaved fans for many a year, especially at the Euro's.

Every other countries fans: Relatively restrained. England fans: Mosh pit.
