Everyone individually has been in the industry for a pretty long time (minus Jiwoo I guess) and they have never ever really hit it big and I feel like at this point they're just going forward due to loyalty to others. I've also heard apparently they're mainly doing it out of loyalty to BM he's pretty much the glue at this point. This isn't their best chemistry-wise I'd say check out their older songs to see how big they really could've been at the start of their group debut!

Never heard of KARD till now. I want to like them but yeah I think they aren't exploring they're full potential yet. I think part of that is that they are the only co-ed group I know of in kpop. The dance is really restricted in part I think bc the producers don't know how to marry the differences of kpop boy and girl group dances. I think this video makes me want to look into them more though so thanks for that!

Somin (the black hair) has been in the industry for like 10+ years now, kard is her third group and you can see her experience no doubt. BM(green hair) is the most popular member, he is very popular with international kpop fans because he has no filter. He’s from LA and good friends with a lot of idols. He has solo songs and is a cohost on a pretty popular podcast amongst kpop fans. Jiwoo(red hair) has participated in a lot of shows in korea with other kpop artists and is always praised for her stage presence and unique tone as a singer and rapper. J.Seph(brown hair) is exactly like you said, the fortitude of the group. Each member represents a playing card and his is the ace. He says he’s the ace because depending on the situation he can be the highest card being the highlight of the group or the lowest card supporting the group. BM is the king, Somin is the black joker and Jiwoo is the color joker. I’m like shocked you gathered all of that from these 2 videos

You should try listening to some of the larger groups with more I guess mix to their songs, where you can have rappers going back to back, a high note, then your main dancer just going at it. Groups I would recommend for this would be Seventeen (13 Member Boy Group) and listening to maybe their songs Hot, or Left and Right to start, then for girl group something like a Twice or Iz*one would work, Twice is very I guess cutesy but their songs like I can't stop me and Set Me Free have a different vibe, where Iz*one is disbanded but has a large catalog of songs.

KARD is amazing. Super underrated. I would actually place their choreo above NewJeans', but style and personal preference comes with that opinion. I'm also much more partial to songs and concepts for adults. New Jeans are very young. As talented as they are, their music doesn't speak to me on an intellectual or emotional level. KARD are adults acting like adults (or goofballs), so I gravitate to their music and concepts and personalities much more.
