The thing about Ansu Fati is that he had a very severe injury and he never returned to form since. But he was phenomenal.

The thing with Lamine in comparison to Ansu is that, for his age he is much more completed. Better dribbler, faster, more agile and always patient on the ball, knows when to pass and carry, the only thing Ansu has him beat to is the positioning off the ball. Ansu was great at that and always took risks, that was to say before his injury, now you can't really tell about his future. Lamine, in the other side should be rested a lot of games, it is not normal for a 16 years old to play high intensity full matches twice a week, unless they want him to drop like Gavi or Ansu.

There is something that messi once said " the more you play the more you improve" putting him on the bench doesn't improve him and this is why we are seeing him improving in the scoring department, he used to have a problem with scoring but it's now getting better

@@edsonmawalla4203not saying you’re wrong, but at the time Messi debuted there were different schedules, which is why there are so many injuries nowadays bc they barely get to rest. On the other hand, barça is in a crisis rn and Lamine is the only one making a difference, so it’s hard to rest him when you need him even against the last place of the league lol

Hey Bronco this is a quick tip to recognize if it’s a league game or a champions league game…when you’re watching some highlights peep the ball…if it got stars on it it’s a UCL game…if it’s puma or nike it’s a league game(it depends on what league they’re playing) Also if you cant look at the ball closely look at the sponsors on the side of the field…champions league got Playstation MasterCard and Nissan i think. As a Barça fan, Ansu wasn't this good when he first broke out.. he just scored a lot of goals. He scored in almost every game he played in. Lamine is a much better dribbler, has incredible vision and decision making and affects the game in more ways than just goals. Ansu was amazing dont get me wrong but he was never an amazing dribbler his main quality was goals. Yamal is also much younger , he only turned 16 a few months ago. For me I wish they played him less this season because he has to be more protected

The difference between lamine yamal and ansu fati is that lamine had his barca debut at 15 years of age . Lamine is also way better at creating chances , dribbling, passing , understanding of the game than ansu fati. Ansu fati made his barca debut at 16 but was already showing great movement and shooting . The injuries really slowed down his career but it hasn't been a failed career just yet he is still 21 going to be 22. Last year for barca he scored over 10 goals with 40 games played 10 were starts and the other 30 were as a substitute with 10 to 15 minutes to play

This is why in the US we’re so behind in terms of producing talent. We try to do the casual US route where we have players go through all of high school and at least one year of college/university before getting an opportunity. That’s not how it works though

Bro, no, us are sending a lot of young talents to Europe, at a VERY young age, eg: pulisic, gio Reyna, pukstas, pussio, etc... You just can't produce a large amount of them, cuz it's becoming a thing just now, not copying, but developing by getting more and better players to the mls, it's a matter of time til it becomes a big thing for yous
