Peter Kay is a national treasure here in the UK. His observational humour is unsurpassed. Plus, he’s a northerner. That immediately makes him funnier! 😂

He's an annoying, unfunny, 1970's safe tv throwback. I fall asleep halfway through his jokes, he just bores me, and loves the sound of his own voice too much. And I'm a northerner. Somebody like Micky Flannigan is a real comic of the 'story' type.

@@DjNikGnashers I'm inclined to agree. It's very a simple holiday park routine. Also he's clearly lying about or highly embellishing his stories. I don't belive hardly a word that comes out his mouth. Passed out on the M6 toll! He probably just dropped a pound at best, the rest is bs. Never understood his popularity other than appealling to the dumb masses. Good for views though so not hating on the channel. Love your Ricky Gervais videos especially

The only shame is, if you are not English, Northern and born in the 70's you are missing the subtleties which account for about 40% of the humour, and that 40% is the best bit because it's the parts we all experienced growing up in the north through the 70's/80's!

Yeah he sold the most tickets for a single comedy tour, which was then beat by Micky Flanagan i think, then i think Jeff Dunham beat Flanagan, although i wouldnt class what Dunham does as comedy

Hes the last of the "old school" comedians in the uk, anything by him is gold. He made a serise called " car share" its just him and a co-worker going to and from work, fantasic show if you evrr get a chance, there must be a best of clips on youtube.

My dad used to take his own teeth out with the end of a teaspoon because he hated the dentist that much. One day my mum made him an appointment because she was getting a bit fed up with his breath and off he trots. Back home in 20 minutes. "That was quick" said mum! "What did they say?" "Nobody there" says dad... "I pushed the door and it wouldn't open". "Did you ring the doorbell" she says quick as a flash! She knew him so well!

I have met him had to install a TV for him. What he had bought his mother in law while she was on holiday. He blagged a install which he hadn't payed for but we installed the TV. He asked us did we want a drink and we said as long as it isn't any roller cola 😂

love Peter Kay, he is a genius who sees the funny side of everyday life. every Brit can relate to everything he says. I just hope he is doing ok, as he cancelled his tour in 2017 and has only appeared looking unwell once last year on a prerecorded video.

I see some comments about Rhod Gilbert he’s a funny man from Wales. There’s a couple of sketches he’s done about complaining. The one about losing your luggage on an aircraft is in my opinion a masterpiece. Whether you can find it on KZfaq I’m unsure. Worth a search though. By the way glad I found your channel, I enjoy it enormously. Your laughter adds to the experience. Take care, stay safe..

The little extras like get a coaster, fine rain, soaks you through, are references to earlier jokes that us Brits are familiar with. He’s much loved here. Relatable, observational humour. Just brilliant. He also does fantastic characters. Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy and Car Share are well worth watching.

I feel his pain - just been to the dentist completing my treatment last Friday In total, I got 11 fillings. The worst was "part 1" the Friday before - 4 sites were injected in my mouth as she did the amalgam on the back teeth. I dribbled my rinse just like he does in the video! "part 2", she did the upper front teeth white fillings - with no anaesthetic. Still horrible. He seems to have gone private in this sketch - the whole lot, and the initial checkup (including X-ray) came to £65 on the NHS for me. Band A is a basic checkup + tooth cleaning by the hygenist - about £20 Band B is X-rays, fillings and extractions - it doesn't matter how many - you pay £65 (includes the checkup that led to the treatment plan) Band C is gold crowns etc - you pay £220+ Welfare and kids get all of these for free.

That filling story reminds me of when I lost two back teeth because there was a big piece of glass in a pizza we ordered from a takeaway. I felt something hard and thought it was just hard crust so bit down. It broke one tooth then the bits of that tooth broke off and ended up cracking the tooth above. Crazy thing is I just pulled the glass out my mouth (that thick glass like on the bottom of a thick jar) and we just carried on eating the pizza and didn't even phone to complain. I've always hated compensation culture and would hope it was just an accident but regret not at least complaining. In the past I also bought a Cadbury's cream egg and bit the top off and was chewing it then looked at the egg before I was gonna eat the rest and there was loads of dead ants in the filling. I just took it back to the shop and tried to say what happened and that if they wanted to complain and try to get the compo they're welcome to do so but they treated me like I was lying and trying to scam THEM. I never complained to Cadbury's about that either.
