13:35 I know Ruairí, a friend of mine was one of his teachers. I can confirm that's exactly how he talks. It was back about 7 years ago now as he was waiting for the bus to school in the village of Park. He was always that way and has never changed at all. In August 2021 he was rescued off the coast of Ireland surrounded by a pod of dolphins having been adrift for several hours. For anyone else that would seem out of the ordinary but not for Ruairí.

Re: Sheffield 3 Accommodation problems - University accommodations often have hair trigger smoke detectors where the mildest burnt toast or even just plain old steam will set them off - meaning having to clear out the entire building over a false alarm because a student was cooking but not doing anything dangerous. I remember some of my peers in Aberystwyth university had to get the tall bloke to hold a bin over the fire alarm while cooking in the (extremely cramped) kitchen just to make sure that they could have some toast without forcing the other 100-odd students to stand out in the winter air while it got cleared (which would also cause a hefty fine from the fire dept for the university). These guys have decided to hoover up the fumes instead though.

My friend had recently had a new baby and one day something happened that terrified her. She was collecting toys and tidying them away that her other 3 year old son had been playing with. She told her son to watch the baby, who was sitting up on the sofa, while she went out for a second. She decided to spy on them to see if he did keep a look out for the baby, and not just get distracted. To her shock her son went upto the baby and said “say something, say something again like before, who are you?”. She was so afraid she rang her husband ( my other friend ) at work. He laughed it off as a childs imagination, but it really scared her. In his way, the little boy in the TikTok was reassuring his mum, but kids can be really creepy sometimes. Great video as ever. ❤

As someone else explained you are meant to pull a Christmas cracker with someone else usually at Christmas Dinner, inside will be a joke & a riddle and a little toy or trinket such as a compass or bottle opener but most importantly each has.a little paper crown that everybody wears, now the thing is these crowns are extremely light and if you have had a couple of sherries or a glass or two of wine it is extremely easy to forget you are wearing a bright red paper crown on your head and so you go about the rest of your day even going outside wearing your little crown until you happen to pass a mirror. Also there are different level of cracker from the cheap and cheerful (which are still more expensive than they should be) right up to expensive ones such as Harrods crackers at £750 or Asprey crackers that cost £1400 and contain solid silver gifts.

That has traumatised me that they have pulled their own Christmas cracker! You get the person sitting next to you to pull the other end and it splits the cracker and the person who gets the "prize" normally keeps it.. not pull both sides your self!

There are two types of student accommodation in the UK. There’s the one in the video, where any amount of any type of gas will have everyone cric crac croccing out in the rain at 3am… and then where I live where I burn toast and the whole flat goes black… no fire alarm.
