The opening theme is the actual Still Game theme. It's called 'Cuban Boy' by Frank Chacksfield. The one you've listened to in previous episodes was used on DVD releases / Netflix because of copyright issues.

The jingle in this one IS the original televised theme. The one you're used to was from the dvds. Due to legal reasons with the BBC

This might seem a bit boring, but series 1-3 was only shown in Scotland, series 4 onwards was shown throughout the UK because it became more popular. The intro was was revamped because of this. Even the intro titles were changed to english spelling. Thing is, the show never changed, it just gets better. Keep them them coming bro. MON THE WOLFPACK!!

Scotlands best pick up line is “a like the PlayStation do you like the PlayStation” we have all used it once in our life’s 😂😂 great reaction dude as usual 💪🏴 ps the jungle might change but there was two jingles to still game one for the tv series and one for dvd set 👍🏻 the jingle you normally hear is the dvd set jingle that one in this episode is the Tv series Jingle

Mince is basically ground beef in a brown gravy usually with peas and carrots, I grew up in Canada but my parents are Scottish so I grew up eating mince and tatties at least once a week.

The first Christmas special (Cold Turkey) is after series 4. The first Hogmanay special (The Party) is after series 5. The next Christmas and Hogmanay specials (Plum Number and Hootenanny) are after series 6.

If you keep watching this show, you'll end up full of Glaswegian/Scottish patter and we'll have to bestow honorary Jock status upon you. (The ceremony involves lots of swearing, the eating of a deep-fried mars bar and you need to down a bottle of Buckfast in under a minute)

Bhurzum II I have never understood the deep fried mars bar being Scottish I'm from central Scotland and never tried a deep fried mars bar till I moved out of Scotland to Wales the majority of chippys down here do deep fried mars bars and other chocolate bars but up Scotland I knew of only 1 chippy that done it Also I have seen loads of places in England that do it too for me the deep fried mars bars is nothing but furthering of the English stereotype of us Scottish being fat and unhealthy

Midnight Toker I hate it when I go into a chippy down here and they hear my glasweigian accent and the first thing most of them say is oh your Scottish we do something Scottish in here deep fried chocolate bars they ain't even that nice anyway The opinion people have of Scottish food couldn't be more wrong granted we might have some unhealthy stuff but the majority of real Scottish food is some of the best produce in the world I know that because I'm a chef Scottish beef for example some of the best in the world

@Midnight Toker 1) Deep fried mars bar. There are three chippies, all within a 5-10 minute drive from my front door, all sell deep fried mars bars. One of them will even chuck any chocolate bar of your choosing into the fryer. 2) Jock I'm 100% Scottish, born & raised in Easterhouse/Glasgow. I use the term "Jock" all the time, my family use it and so do many of my friends. Funny that, eh? 3) Buckfast Ironic that the only thing you don't dispute is an English drink. Final point: Gerrit up ye, ya bawbag!

What version of the jingle do you prefer The Original (The one in this video and was used in all season 1-6 on the TV) or the DVD intro (The ones in the previous videos that were used for the DVD’s because of copyright issues)

i believe for me i liked the ones that someone said was the dvd one that they had to change. to me its a nicer tune but its probably just a difference in quality.

It's a shame Wullie never appeared again after this episode, shortly before the episode was broadcast, his actor Johnny Irving passed away, you can see his dedication in the credits.

That said, Johnny Irving also played a different character called Wullie, but not in this episode. He was the guy with the birthmark on his head that they mistakenly thought had died that time, and raided his house for all the stuff he'd borrowed over the years.
