I've said this before but I'm so happy you're doing Jam, Brass Eye and Alan Partridge (can't wait for you to see I'm Alan Partridge). If you want to add another (and one of the best) Chris Morris creations to your schedule I highly recommend the mini series 'Nathan Barley' co-created by Charlie Brooker

There was a BBC correspondent called Brian Hanrahan, who is probably most famous for his reporting during the 1982 Falklands War. Quite why he was the basis for the hapless reporter’s name, I don’t know.

After Jam you should watch Big Train, a very funny sketch show written by the Father Ted writers, it's mostly the same cast, with the addition of Simon Pegg.

Veteran actor Harry Tawb, I believe. This segment was a reversal of the infamous 1980s John Nott/Robin Day interview, when Nott stormed out after being called a “here today, gone tomorrow politician” by Day.

1:05 Fact me til I fart is a reference to an urban myth/legend about a certain female newsreader, who allegedly had a ‘liaison’ with a crew member at work, unfortunately she still had her mic on and everyone heard the line ‘f**k me til I fart’.

@@jonathancole833 Yes it's well known who the myth was about, Google is your friend. She was also apparently the inspiration for Sally Smedley in Drop the Dead Donkey who is recorded in a similar encounter with her 'Big Norse Warrior'.

I don't know if you're planning on waiting for December to do the KMKYWAP Christmas Special but if you are I wouldn't worry about going straight in to I'm Alan Partridge. The sixth episode of KMKY sets up the sitcom perfectly, the Christmas special doesn't have anything in it that comes up in the sitcom as far as I can remember

Peter Baynham - who was the gay reporter in this is now a Hollywood screenwriter (Ron's Gone Wrong most recently). His best work is still the Pot Noodle adverts, though.

A bit of a warning about brass eye. I watched the whole thing sometime ago and Rolf Harris appears in the drugs episode (enough for you to cut out at least).

Man it's like they saved the maddest material for this episode heh. Also I hate to say it but Lester Beck reminds me of Ronald Federici way too much, and this was 6 years BEFORE that "Taming The Problem Child" documentary... On a lighter note, "I'm Rosie May The world is at my teat" "Wut"

Multiple family members competed in judo or are now competing. Not me, I was like Alan wheezing "Get off!" Bonding exercises on training courses feel as soul destroying as that documentary. At least I never had to deal with a pig, although there was the time I could describe the day with the words 'dumpster fire' because there was a literal dumpster fire in the car park, which set off the fire alarm and cut the day's activities short. Thank god, I thought.

I don't know if it will get blocked, but have you considered doing the other Brass Eye episodes? I think they are all on youtube. They are all brilliant, but the Drugs episode kind of stands out, or the Sex one if you want something spicier.

I wonder how many people under the age of about 40 don't get the Robinson's/golly joke Probably very few people remember the newspaper Today (which never stood a chance in the overcrowded market, even before it vaulted over the political fence). Watching this again - the regional accents need work. From someone called Doon MacKichan we expect better... Office pig - with a reaction like that, what a pity it wasn't a non-neutered boar In a nutshell? Are you a retired colonel?
