Johnny is a hero in the UK. He’s remembered when he donated a million pounds to Great Ormond Street Hospital after his daughter was treated there when she was seriously I’ll. no one forgets his generosity and kindness.

Richard Curtis who co-wrote the Vicar of Dibley is very well connected as a film director who knows a lot of people. So it's not really surprising that he got Johnny and Fergie to appear. He had already got Kylie to appear in the fete episode. Richard Curtis is also the founder of Conic Relief, so it's very dear to him.

I've got to say that I was so shocked to see JOHNNY DEPP!! How fabulous!! It was so sad that Alice (Emma Chambers died aged 53, from a heart attack - she was just brilliant.) xx

The beginning always makes me laugh. When they're talking about Sense and Sensibility being filmed in the village. James Fleet who plays Hugo was actually in Sense and Sensibility lol

Emma was also in an early episode of The Comic Strip Presents with Dawn. Anthony Stewart Head (from Buffy) was also in that one.

Jonny loves England and lives here a lot. He has done a lot of charity work here and donated millions to Great Ormand Street Hospital. He appeared in Fast Show and Extras as well.

I am such a huge fan of most British comedies. I like Dawn French, I don't know why but this show always falls flat with me. And Miranda. They just never keep my interest ... I find my mind wandering and thinking of other things I could be watching. Oh well, so many more shows to watch. Great reaction! Cheers ✌

Great reaction again to one of the UK's national treasure shows and comedians. 👍 You should try (if you haven't seen it already) Dawn French's comedy partner Jennifer Saunders in Absolutely Fabulous. Or try some French and Saunders movie spoofs from over the years.

Dawn French was in Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban as the Fat Lady in the portrait. Her ex-husband was voice of the shrunken head on the bus.

I honesttly donr think that and non British petson will ever understand the importance of this show to most of us brits. The affection we still hold for this shoe is unprecedented. She was one of our slretnative comedienes fromm the 80s and The Vicar of Dibleywas so hilariously funny but for all the family. It was well missed

@@bxkid7 I like most of what Ricky Gervais does. “Extras”, “Life’s too short” , “Afterlife” etc. I used to like Eddie Izzard until he started wearing dresses and calling himself “she”, put me right off him. I like “Curb your Enthusiasm”. Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders were a lot better together than when they did so called comedies on there own such as the stupid “Vicar of Dibley” and “Absolutely Fabulous” crap.need I go on?
