American Signal T-121 Noon Whistle - Plymouth, WI on 7-27-16

Күн бұрынToday I went to Johnsonville, WI to record their Darley 3V8 siren at their fire department. Long story short the siren failed. I then went to Plymouth, WI to record their ASC T-121 at their fire department downtown at noon. I think the sirens that have failed on me the last two times in Sheboygan county are actually noon whistles so, I will go back and try those sirens at noon at a different time. Sheboygan county test's their sirens every other Wednesday at 11 and Plymouth tests every day at noon.

This sound is oddly nostalgic. I remember hearing it every day at school when I was little, and it brings back happy memories

@@dinkindane CS8s were made later. I am quite sure they were GP8s, or Secomake GP12s. Have a great day! ☻

Carsen Joseph Culpitt Noon whistles double as tornado sirens in Kansas. I’m sure it’s the same here.
