The best way to discover a place is to get lost and explore the side streets while meeting locals. My passion for travel started when I was 22. I got a chance to visit my cousin in Beijing and found that it was so exciting to see a new culture. Trying all the different varieties of Chinese foods was also a big selling point. Once I started I could not stop. I wanted to figure out how to make my life more adventurous and break out of my normal lifestyle. I speak Chinese fluently and speak Thai, Japanese, and Spanish on a basic level. I love different cultures from around the world. Traveling is not easy but what you get from it is a new understanding of every place you go.

Filipinos handle there food with care and protection., they prepare foods without physical contact of he food itself, no cross contamination.

I appreciate the fact that you go around trying out the carinderias, street food (tusok-tusok) and other pop-up food stalls. You should try eating in some kind of fiesta or if any of your youtube friends will be celebrating something, tag along. A different experience, I tell you.

I would love to go to an authentic fiesta. It would be so fun to try traditional foods and drinks. I love carinderias because it is the best. I cant go to the boring malls and make a fun video. I really like where the local people go.

That's how bad ass our provincial fiestas, they have pretty much everythinig on the table for everyone to share after going to church.

There was hesitation on your trying different street foods. @@FoodXBert Filipinos for some reason almost love everything in food. That is why there would numerous approach for same recipe, depending on the location. We innovate just to the point of enjoying it. The range of our food preferences is widely varied. Almost everything becomes a favorite. As my mother would always say, 'Hunger is the best sauce.' :)))

When I was a kid growing up in the Philippines, my faves were fishball, squid balls, kikiams, betamax, isaw, banana q’s and barbecues, turon, and the sweeter delicacies like palitaw, kuchinta and binatog…now looking back, I wonder how we ever had room for the main meals eating all that filling snack in between! I miss those food and cant wait til my son who grew up in a diff country can go home to his partial roots and try them too.

@@FoodXBert ahahaha you're funny, yeah Addidas is good for running. but here in the in the philippines Adiddas is a filipino street food... it is a grilled chicken feet. Betamax is a grilled pig's or chicken blood, mag wheels is a grilled pig's intestines, helmet is a grilled chicken head and maskara is a grilled pig's face.
