@Nintendo Universe I have a thrust master joystick and throttle I use for MS flight sim. I also use it on ATS and it works great. Sometimes it's a little touchy but I'd give it a 8/10

Here in 2019 still playing this because I miss driving truck after becoming disabled. This sim does a great job of giving you a good feel of what it is like to be behind a big rig. I do wish SMS would take away offenses for when the AI causes the accident though. As others have said, people actually do drive like that in real life and it is scary because there is nothing you can do in a big truck to avoid that crash.

Jeff. The accident was not your fault. Damn 4wheelers think that you can stop on a dime even with 40k lbs. my dads first accident was in his xl Classic also.. A deer ran across the highway in Utah and he hit it. It caused $14 k in damages so don't feel bad, it happens to everyone. As always loving ats and Firewatch. Can't wait to see the next episode in both series

I have the W900 Long with the legacy sleeper, its a little tough to park a trailer with it, but overall I love the truck!

I'm from the St Louis area too and we use AT&T for Internet service...speeds are decent and so is the price when bundled with the house phone and wireless plan. Just a FYI

I thought the guy working on the wall during the first minute of the video was a drunk guy trying to hold himself upright until Jeff drove closer to him lmao. But yeah I just love the Internet/TV provider monopolies out there. We're so behind the curve on that in the states it's unreal. The FREE WiFi services you find at airports in South Korea have UPload speeds of 50 Mbps+.

Ahhh that's nothing. Just yesterday I was cruising through one of those small middle of nowhere towns and an AI bus ran a stop sign and T-boned me into Chris's Meat Market. He had to be going about 50, and I never saw him coming because the Say Hen Casino is so close to the road at that intersection.

I have Charter cable here in Wyoming and I am lucky to have 66Mb by 5Mb and I love it. I wish I could get 120Mb, but yeah, I do agree trying to upload videos at 5Mb is a long term event. But keep up the great work. :)

Wow. Your connection is lightening compared to mine in Australia. I use the most popular internet service (Cable) and on good days I get 25-30 Mbps down and 1 or below down.

Dude the AI is frickin nuts. You would think that sense AI stands for Artificial Intelligence that the computer would know " Oh crap a semi is coming I should stop" But yeah that definitely needs to be worked on a little with SCS. I was playing the other night and this AI car came onto the highway in front of me and then all of a sudden it puts it's breaks on like it was going to wait to merge onto the highway. Similar like with the Bus on your latest run. I think it's just a timing bug on the AI traffic. But keep it up the trucking is awesome.

Your shifting always depends on the motor CAT, Cummins, Detroit.. most float the gears..double clutching is rare.

I've heard noting but bad things about charter. I have windstream and I have 50 up and 10 down, and I get every ounce of my connection 24/7. Not bad for a copper connection! Good luck getting yourconnection upgraded!

Jeff I think that the modders should make a hand gesture mod so you can flip someone off. That would be cool for when you get in accidents. Also I would have to disagree with you on scs fixing the AI from cutting us drivers off because it brings out realism in the game. Any other truckers on the channel can't say they haven't been cut off unless they have been driving for less then a month! Lol. Anyways Jeff great video can't wait for more.

That is that first time that happened to you? It is super annoying in my game, Ive learned that you need to be in the right lane for them to yield to you. They never turn in front of me when I'm in the right lane, only the left.

Hey Jeff I've got a question; on these simulators did you truly spend 6 hours driving and shorten the video to the best 20-30 minutes? Or is the in game time sped up quite significantly? cause 6 hrs is a long ass time for 222 miles.

+Intel Core i7 6900k (overclocked to 6.6Ghz) Driving sims normally have compressed time, so a 6 hour drive is nothing in real time.

Jeff I've had two accidents the same way in the game where they would just jump in front of you without stopping. I was pissed but what can you do. I just hope they will fix this problem soon.

So I have this truck and all the mods for the jake brake sound that you have but when i press the jake brake button the switch moves in the cab but there is no noise and nothing else happens; any help?
