Lots of great wins about this rework! Thank you! :D - Preserved the charm of the original map, including the waterfront and the steep streets - Expanded view distance of some assets - Removal of permanent fog at the Golden Gate bridge - Downtown roads to explore - Improved tram network

It drives me crazy that these massive updates are free! It would be interesting to compare before and after in the same place. California is the base map in the game and my starting garage is always either Los Angeles or San Francisco, so I'm really looking forward to the rework project! It was hard to notice a big change in some places, but the quality of textures has improved and the scenery seems to have become more detailed. 👍

I am loving the amount of love and support you are giving the state of California... Definitely looking forward to a revamp of Bakersfield to Los Angeles to San Diego all the way back to Yuma Arizona basically the rest of the state. Keep up the great work SCS!... I have supported you guys since day one, and own a physical copy of the PC version of American Truck Simulator and will continue to grant you my support as you guys complete the entire United States map...

California will only have one more phase and that's it, after that they are moving to Nevada and then Arizona.

Yeah, it should be the last one for California, after that Nevada will probably get 2 Phases and Arizona maybe 2 or 3.

@@danielvargas6960 Are you sure? I feel like there may be two phases left for California - Phases 4 & 5. Phase 4 may focus on Central California up to the AZ border, and Phase 5 might focus on SoCal (LA + SD).

Currently, I love playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 and enjoy the driving experience and managing my transportation company. However, I would like to see a more realistic representation of my company's activity in the game. It would be great to see the trucks of my company's employees on the streets delivering cargo, facing everyday situations like tire punctures, or even greeting me with lights as they pass by. I believe this would add an additional layer of immersion and realism to the game and make the company management experience even more rewarding. Why did you have to remove Hornbrook, San Rafael and Oakdale? Couldn’t they’ve been marked on the map with smaller icons like some smaller, minor towns in ETS2?
