I brought my American friend to Calgary for 24 hours to experience a real Canadian winter and compete to see who “wins” the trip. We go to a Calgary Flames hockey game, snow tubing, play CrokiCurl, eat Alberta beef, get a haircut at a bar and try the biggest Caesar drink in the town Caesar’s were invented. We explore the Calgary Farmers’ Market and end up at a Karaoke bar. It was a wild time. Huge thanks to Tourism Calgary for hosting us.

Jason's estimation of Indian food is spot on - how he was ticked that he'd gone his life without it so far. I felt the same about Indian food - AND (good) Indian / Bollywood films when I saw them for the first time. For any curious Bollywood newbies, I'd suggest starting with Main Hoon Na, then Om Shanti Om, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Paheli, Don 1, Pathaan.

We’re we’re just recently on a cruise and some people (Americans) asked us if we (Canadians) wanted to play shuffleboard and I asked if it was like curling? 😆 she didn’t know what curling was but she explained shuffleboard to me 😆

Great video. It was so weird watching you guys and seeing the city where I live in the background. If you had waited just a bit to come here you could have been less cold when the temp was plus 10 celsius. Glad you had fun and hope you felt welcome in Calgary, especially since there is often animosity between the provinces of Alberta and Ontario. Do you have any other western Canada visits planned for future videos?

Thanks for reminding me why I moved to Vancouver. I know Calgary has some great stuff but the cold weather sealed it for me to be here in Vancouver. Though in 2001 even Vancouver was too cold and I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years.
