One of the dosa is made with a rice & lentil batter while the one with holes is made with semolina flour

The side dishes served with Dosas are not sauces. They are called Chutneys. White one Coconut chutney, Orange one must be tomato, the one in cup was sambhar. Tip are allowed (but we keep it inside that folder not in open) Apart from Masala dosa, you should have tried Kerala version of dosa too.

Hey Guys !!! Whenever you talk of a MASALA DOSA, it means it contains mashed potatoes spiced up with some basic spices and tempered with onion. The Dosa that was very loosely built was made of Semolina and the Other Butter Masala Dosa made up of rice and lentil mixture filled with mashed potatoes spiced up with some basic spices and tempered with onion. Trust you enjoyed the Dosas folks.... Enjoy and have fun in Kerela once again.

The WHITE COLOURED CONDIMENT was a COCONUT CHUTNEY. It is usually very bland but, sometimes people add up green chillies to spice it up. The RED OR ORANGE CONDIMENT was a TOMATO CHILLY CHUTNEY. It is usually a little spicy even by the Indian standards. As for the GREEN CONDIMENT it was a COCONUT CHILLY CHUTNEY. Usually spicy again. The Watery dish is SAMBAR or a LENTIL SOUP that contains many ingridients like onions, tomatoes, curry leaves, mustard seed and other spices. Dosas are best enjoyed with you eat them with a combination of either of the Chutneys and adding thereto a spoonful of Sambar. Paddy....

Are you back in India? Or am I confused with so many KZfaqrs posting such videos? Few months back I kinda remember you were all over Bengaluru, right?? And you didn't have Dosa then??
