I don’t think doctors pick up calls. The secretaries at the reception do and they are responsible for the appointments

Never met a local doctor or dentist with a secretary actually, even less 'home' doctors. They do take the calls and do appointments themselves, though it's much easier now on internet via those websites for appointments, I assume they pay a fee for that.

No, it means "you get 1 week pto and don't call me again unless it's worse." Also, it's tea AND a warm bottle, not IN a warm bottle. Zack just has a cold, no medication necessary.
