Noel Fielding and Russel Brand together is an experience. They were paired together on "Big Fat Quiz of the Year" and basically kept disrupting the whole flow of the show.

I literally had to move when I was 35, I lived in a city called Brighton in the UK and it's just a party town, I got fired from a pretty decent job for being hungover too often and the only way I could stop doing it was by being somewhere a bit more relaxed, so I moved to the mountains, was the best decision I ever made! I've been a fan of Noel Fielding for years, but that's the first time I've seen him attempt any form of traditional style stand-up, he did a TV Show and live tour of a show called The Mighty Boosh with his comedy partner at the time Julian Barratt, which was excellent.

"Mighty Boosh Old Gregg" or "Mighty Boosh The Hitcher" will give you a bit of insight into Noels surreal comedy... The first series of Mighty Boosh is probably the best. They originally started doing their characters on stage so everything was very small and the scenes were contained. The later series were bigger budget and it lost some of the rawness.

I love Noel Fielding, he's so out there. I wonder if you would enjoy Rhod Gilbert's stand up if you like comedians that flip out, if I've read that expression correctly. He goes on these extremely funny rants about seemingly ordinary things. To properly understand why noel behaves like this (his litttle random song moments and such) You need to see his tv he did called "The mighty boosh" Its basically the entire show is like those oddball moments, but with some kind of story in every episode. Like the one with the Crack fox, or the one with Old Greg (who has a man-gina) And just in case anyone doesnt know (from outside of england) CHAV is a term we use for the youths that hang about on corners and cause trouble it stands for "Council housed and violent"

I actually don't know if it's been explained to you, perhaps you understood from the context, but if not - a Chav is pretty much urban trailer trash. Distinguishing features include, but are not limited to, pairing tracksuits with Burberry, excessive jewellery, loitering in public parks drinking and/or smoking, dodgy haircuts and tattoos. This is a 90's/00's description because I'm not even sure if I just instinctively avoid the areas in which said people congregate or whether they even exist as a collective anymore.

Noel Fielding is always a little abstract & bizarre in the BEST WAY!! I know you are a bit inundated with British shows currently, but his show The Mighty Boosh was brilliant! Hes also the host of a baking show (its an institution) called the Great British Bake Off. I only bring it up because the have some 'celeb specials' done with comedians for Stand up to cancer, and the compilations of comedians, are fantastic. James Acasters is bloody brilliant, and I bet you would enjoy James Buckleys too, as hes one of your fave muppets! Lee macks is hella funny too. Just a random suggestion for something different to normal!! ALL HAIL THE KING!

I’ve seen Noel live three times, not one show has been the same for me, personally. He does a lot of improvisation. Perhaps not as much as Ross Noble, who literally wings his entire tour. Another comedian you should look into, if you’re after wild flights of fancy. Just search for his ‘24 and the ice cream vendor’ to see what I mean.

Yeah, to get Noel Fielding, you need to watch an episode or two of the Mighty Boosh to understand how odd things can get. That show is totally weird. As far as I know, he built up a considerable following amongst young women. To understand the Rolf Harris joke and comparison to Jimmy Saville, you probably need to look him up and check out some of his work with the wobble board etc. He was a West Australian icon and adopted into the English fabric of society like some of our other celebrities such as Kylie Minogue or Peter Andre. You might also want to look up Peter Andre so you can understand some of the jokes in the second Inbetweeners movie, as he forms part of a joke that basically runs through the entire film 😁

He always looks and sounds nervous and unsure ,he is always like this , I would say its rehearsed. He's just a bit off the wall and strange. He was in a program called The Mighty Boosh , i dont think you would get that at all, it was really really weird .
