they have 31 000 active personel and 72 000 reservist, and czech army have 28 000 active personel and 4000 reservist :)

Austria is the only one with mandatory conscription, so yes it has the largest man power (on paper), but its military is very underfunded.

-Austria was before germany by the way, -that pronunciation was unrecognizable - the military numbers soo wrong. - Hungary is around 7 place in all time gold medals at olympics and first in medals per capita if you don't count bahamas who had 1 medal but just 33 000 people or something. -for the male female rate, its just more possible choice.

cool video but kinda outdated on few things like heads of states but it was released before some elections as well as before current differences in military budget for example in video poland has 15 Bilion$ of military spending meanwhile current Military spending is about 30 billion$ diffrence outdated in some areas as well but hey as i said video released fairly long time ago

I have to say - not to be demeening, but - the Austrian military spending can NOT be compared to our eastern neighbours. Austrias wages and everything else are just so much higher! Most of our neighbours do not have the euro or at least not as long as we do and ao much more. The behind the scenes is basically (sorry, just as an example):"live in Hungary and work in Austria and you will be VERY well off even after taxes and driving 3 hours!"

Funfact: Hungary got the most olimpic medals per capita (and also the most Nobel-prizes per capita *over 1mill population) It's a quite small and sadly underrated country, but has many great achivements of its own, which are overlooked in the 'big-world's eye' 😅

Hunagary does not have the most nobel prices per capita, Switzerland has the most, followed by Sweden, Denmark Austria, and Norway. Hungary is in the high midfield when it comes to "per capita". For example Austria has 25 nobel prices with a population of 8,9 mil, and Hungary has 15 with a population of 9,7 mil
