Its as if he feels out of place in all of these scenarios we would consider normal and full of love. Its like alternate universes of his life. The ending of the MV to me reads as him leaving behind the pressure as he finds someone who truly resonates with him and is willing to walk through life with him. Whether or not that partner is romantic or just a representation of himself, I'm not sure, lol

Funny that you didn’t expect it, to me it’s so RM!!!! If you listen more to his music this is very much his vibe and sound like in his album Indigo there are many beautiful songs like this but of course this song is up there maybe one of his best ever! So excited for his new album!!

This was all filmed and recorded before he went, he talked about it a lot during his lives, i think the filming for the MV for Come Back To Me was back in October!! Commenting as I'm watching but I think you're on the right track (6:48 - 7:18). Obviously the MV could be interpreted in multiple different ways but it reminds me so much of The Midnight Library, where the main character Nora basically tries to live different versions of her life and none of them feel right except for her own. The book's premise is that there's a place between life and death, the midnight library, in which the shelves go on forever and every book there represents regrets in the life she lived (eg. failed relationships, family issues, etc.) and provides a chance to try and live the different lives that could've been hers. With this is mind, i think it's pretty easy to draw parallels between the books from the midnight library and the doors/rooms from the MV as they both give a peek into a life that could've been, had they only made different decisions. Another parallel could also be drawn between the girl towards the end with the purplish grey dress and the Librarian from the novel, as well as the never ending library shelves and the never ending rooms at the end of the MV. At the end of the book and the MV, both Nora and Namjoon realise that their current lives ARE the best version of their lives, and they go on to live them without any regrets. Namjoon is seen both looking and trying to open the door here and there during the MV (eg. 3:08 in your reaction), which could be the door to his actual life? The life, the ''door'' he's yearning for is HIS life (reinforcing the ''this version of your life is the best one'' theme). I could be totally off and be reading too much into it but I wouldn't be surprised if he got inspo from the book since this type of theme has come up with Namjoon before too, like in his Weverse posts, letters and interviews. During Festa 2022 he specifically talked about the possibility of a multiverse where Kim Namjoon is just a regular office worker who doesn't do music at all, that he's lucky and thankful that in this version of the universe he decided to do music and was able to meet the other members, and that he believes this to be the best version of the universe.

This song is so good, I'm obsessed with it since he performed it in the last show of the Agust D D-Day Concert!! And yes, before it was released!!! And the MV is so well-made, i think its about the evolution of life but also societal expectations that people have, like you have to get married you have to be like this, oh and also mosy likely related to his album's title "Right Place, Wrong Person"!! Yes I agree with you guys, I also feel that this song is about himself - a reflection. Like he is speaking to himself. And that third woman who walked through the door with him was like a reflection of himself because their clothes are so similar. Like maybe his divine feminine self or like a reflection of himself or just a friend guiding him. And she is helping him find himself and coming back to himself and when he does, you see his perspective shift. Like he felt like he didn't belong anywhere and no matter which path he took or the role he played in life (son, friend, boyfriend, husband, father) he just felt out of place - 'right place wrong person'. And then he finds himself and suddenly he is more confident and sure of himself and he finds himself and is happy and so are the people around him - he finally feels like he belongs

Adding to my earlier comment about the parallels between this MV and The Midnight Library novel, the lyrics also kind of point me to that same direction. ''I see you come back to me'' could be Namjoon from the end of the MV singing it to the Namjoon from the start of the MV. Like ''you can explore your regrets and peek around at the lives you could've lived if you had made different decisions but this is the life you'll always come back to in the end''? The line ''Now I can see what life is about'' also makes me think this is present day Namjoon singing to past Namjoon. Whatever he intended, I love it lol.

It's called MMM (MiniMoni Music) album exchange. The video releases on 25th May, a day after the album drops. The teaser's title also hints that we can perhaps expect another album from Jimin too. I think sprints always been here I will sleep in her eyes is such a beautiful lyric. RM has mentioned and referenced spring day and that idea of waiting for spring to come after hard times...like in Change with rm and wale rm has a lyric "Prayin' for better place for you and I, I see some grass growin' in winter's eyes" which to me is like the spring/better times coming through. So with springs always been here I will sleep in her eyes, it is like shifting perspective to see how you don't have to wait to be anything else before you find that comfort and rest, it's about shifting perspective to see that spring has always been here. I think it fits right place wrong person and the video because it was like once he was able to be comfortable with himself he could see he good around him and how he could feel like the right person in those situations by being comfortable within himself in the now instead of searching for other lives or waiting for spring.

based on the album title I saw the video as showing possible lives for "RM" but in the beginning he was unhappy because while all the places were right he was the wrong person for them and he was still searching for the place/life that was right for him and the last girl was also searching for her place and meeting made them realize that they're not alone. Like not everyone has found their way in life yet but all those lifes are good if you're the right fit for them (when he was having fun the second time in those rooms)

Actually if you had listened to RMs entire catalogue every mix tape or album is different from the last. He has always been the most experimental and creative artist, possibly in music today. He constantly pushes boundaries. That's why he's most loved by other artists and musicians. INDIGO ( his last album) every track was a different genre. Actually this is more like RMs FOREVER RAIN from MONO. In this mv RM wanders around confused, depressed and disengaged from everything going on around him. All these different lives, expectations. Until he meets his other half( plato or Jung ) and thats when he can be happy in all these potential lives but he leaves with his other half who doubles as ARMY( she flashes a purple hue). In the light RM discovers its all fake sets made by and created for someone else. He chooses not to be boxed in by expectations. PAIN DEVINE talking with Pharrell Williams they were agreeing you judged how good lyrics are by how painful they are to write. Pain devine= creative inspiration?.

Can't wait for this album!!! I hope we get commentary on his writing process, maybe in the video with Jimin they teased? Btw, they can't officially work nor film anything during military, so anything they release, it's been done prior to service. I guess they can still promote on social media, but that's it.
