Nag ashwin was actually a small director but he is a talented and hardworking director. He is very young, It is just his 3rd movie, but he did really well. He is more into Indian culture. His first film is about spiruatuality, second was a biopic about an actres and this is his third film. His first 2 films were small budget films

KALKI 2898 AD is something Americans will find very hard to digest. the refrences from history do look like easy to understand but thats just 0.001% of Mahabharat. Mahabharat itself is so big and entagled with sub plots and twists arround every other corner, and not to forget there are 6 more Cheeranjeevi's (the immortals) who might show up in KCU. Aashawathama is just the first one in the film just fulfiling his destiny. Bhagwan Parshuram might show up coz thats what written in the Kalki purana. 16 years of MCu with films, web shows just went into drain by one Indian movie, the perfect reply to hollywood from India. and before hitting me up with irrational replies justfying MCU (no hate to MCU) remember Immortals of Meluha is still siting, dont forget Kakbhushandi. the history of Hindu religion is like a never ending source of fuel for making good quality movies.. this is just the start. Sada Aanant Sanatan !
