This was my 1st ever concert. It was an all-day event at the old Wembley Stadium. We travelled 3 hours in the morning to get there, then three hours home af ter. Memories that will last with me forever

At 66 years old and having seen a fair few bands, this gig is still one of 'THE' best I've attended they really were on the ball! Also there called - In Excess - guys not Inks LOL.

I was in that crowd. What a day!!, Blondie, Jesus Jones, Crowsed House were the support band until the guys came on, the the house just went mad!! IN....X.....S. You should review Devil Inside from the same concert, it was the last song of the night...pure class

Actual best song from this concert, for me - 'The Stairs'. Harmonica was tracked in this unfortunately, don't know why they felt they had to get Andrew miming it, inspired by Kylie Minogue.

The Stairs is my fav as well. Love that song. I haven't worried too much to correct Jon on pronouncing the band name as it was just a limited request list and it's over and done with now. More of a follow on from the Chisel requests than anything too deep. I've bought the download for LiveBabyLive. It's just fantastic from start to end.

Charlie Musselwhite, possibly the greatest harmonica player ever, recorded the riff for the album. I’ve seen Andrew perform it live on some British TV, and it was woeful. To be honest it would’ve made this crap. So getting a sound engineer to press a play button was the right decision. It’s the main hook of the song.

@@kjdavis1 Yep. He’s always mimed it. That vibrato harmonica sound at the end of the riff can’t be played hands free. A hand has to be used at the front to control airflow. There’s also an electronic percussion sound like a marimba that’s not from the stage either. As I said sometimes it’s necessary to sound good instead of 100% authentic live and sound shit.

Thanks for reacting to this brilliant performance by INXS. Michael Hutchence has been described as a cross between Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison. Sadly, he left the world too soon.

Suicide Blonde was the color of a wig his then girlfriend Kylie Minogue wore to an event. Saw them live post Michael and they still killed it. But he was one of a kind.

I never see it mentioned a lot but not everyone is aware that the lead guitar player (Tim), the drummer (Jon) and the guy playing the guitar/harmonica (Andrew) are all brothers (Farriss)

This is the second time I've seen you two react to inxs and your still getting the name wrong. I hope this helps in excess.the band made the x a different colour to the ixs so people would pause when they got to the x.

If you love them so much, and you think they're "INCREDIBLE!!" and that Michael is "the boss" you'd know how to pronounce the name of the band and you'd know that Michael tragically took his life in 1997. Have the respect for the artists you "react" to and your subscribers who have shown more respect than you lot by leaving R.I.P.'s in the comment section. I'd hate to think of Michaels daughter coming across your channel and seeing this. "He's having such a good time". If this was a one off I wouldn't be so bothered but HOW MANY INXS VIDEOS has this channel done? And how much have you profited? (That's a rhetorical question by the way).
