i remember reading at twitter that the six boys(jin, yoongi, hobi, jimin, tae and jungkook) has satoori and namjoon doesn't have cos he's from seoul. But because they lived together for so long, he got the accent of the others, they called it NAMTOORI >.

When i was go to Korea I was go to bts hometown busan, gwangju, and daegu and that was really amazing in there,I like gwangju the most when its winter, hope you can go there ❤

that's true !! and once you start paying attention, the stuff like jinminkook going "mA!!" or the slight roughness of suga's daegu dialect starts to pop out at you a lot more/become way way easier to spot

Thank you for reacting to this! Actually a lot of people was so amazed by this song they even been studied and anayzed by professors. A Korean professor in studies of Korean Linguistics and Language sent BTS 3 of his books after he analyzed the lyrics of 'Paldogangsan' and praised BTS in his new book.

I'm not sure if Uthman and Marisol will read this comment..... but Namjoon wrote a poem about unification of Korea when he was 12yrs old (5th grade) called 'Koren peninsula tiger and unification'. We don't know whether it's a coincidence but there's a line in his poem saying 'The day when two colours on the Korean flag unite and become purple,...... ' 💜

i got into BTS's songs because I love their beats and melodies, little did I know I'd end up studying history, politics, korean culture, psychology, music charts and more. Im not complaining though 😂💜

Jokes aside, this song really make me thinking about all those ridiculous fight and rivalry between regions and states in my own country. A little story, I came from the east cost of Malaysia and people in my university always make fun of my dialect, i don't really use it with them but sometime you just can't help but to slipped some. I don't really understand why people make fun of other people's dialect, i just thought it what makes you unique and beautifully different from each other. You know it's like a representation of your region or states, so please don't hate each other we came from the same planet anyway like namjoon said in the song " we're looking at the same sky" no need to fight anymore💜

This is why I keep preaching that Paldogangsan is one underrated masterpiece. Its such a bop and has great meaning. It feels like a song that transcends language ironically its hard to understand unless you watch explanation videos like this but still...

wow i love this reaction! i wathced some of the BTS lyrics explained by korean but not this one. The content i learnt each time from him is so great. I might not remember all the words he explained but still very interesting and we learnt the depth of BTS lyrics (and occassionally i recall and catch what BTS was saying/expressing

Thank you so much for reacting to this! It's such a nice thing to see people really digging deep into BTS' messages throughout their songs, as most of them do have strong messages and are written by the members themselves! not only are they great, funny people, but they are also incredibly intelligent, well-versed, and talented! one note: although this channel has some really great videos on the meaning behind BTS songs as native koreans, they have also said some very hateful things about BTS. This is just a side note tho! I do agree their content is highly beneficial for all non-koreans to understand the message of BTS songs! Much love familia!! Hope you have a great day!!

All BTS members came from different regions from Korea so at the beginning they had very strong accents from their regions. But they are now living in Seoul for more than10 years so they kinda developed standard Korean Seoul accent from time to time. So now the accent is not that strong since the debut days. But Jungkook and J-Hope still has very strong strong accents whenever they speak. Honestly whenever Jungkook speaks in his Busan dialect he looks so hot and it feels like he is going to kill someone.😂

To my knowledge, there was and is no other artist like BTS, they are EVERYTHING! A complete package to the body, mind and soul. We are truly blessed to be living in their era. I lived in Korea for a while in my younger days and hearing Satoori is so fun and pleasant to hear. I've been to Daegu and Busan. This brought back a lot of memories.😄💜

Well... it's a very nice video. A lot of people don't check this out and miss the whole point of paldogangsan. I am happy that you both are diving deeper into BTS's korean heavy songs. If you have not check out already, you can check out - Spine breaker, Bapsae... this two song has a very deep korean roots. Dkdktv have explnation video of these two as well.
