This is my first comment on youtube. Ever. You are so great, and have such a positive energy. You, somehow, made me to be more patient obout my country. See, Romania offers a lot, but there are a lot to be done. People are changing, evolving, and you guys, with your vibe, are a part of this beautiful change. You are Romania, because this country is all about people, good people, romanians germans, hungarians, and so on, each one being a part of this wonderful part of Europe called Romania. That's why we feel wonderful here. And you, with all your romanian experience, made me to get a closer look about my country. In the end : VA MULTUMESC !

You guys are adorable! Bethany, you have such a superb voice when singing (took me by surprise) and Pablo, seems like that guitar is basically as extension of your being. Romanian grammar is... not the easiest, so don't be so hard on yourself, but keep practicing (and yes, being out and about is the best way and also watching everything with subtitles, but Duolingo helps, too)! I also wanted to mention that, considering the amount of time you might think of spending here, you should take into account mixing Carolina's homeschooling with some more traditional classes, it might be easier for her to immerse into the culture and social life later on in her teens years (again, if you plan on staying that long). That being said, I applaud your effort, it really put a smile on my face, and I want to leave you guys with a culinary recommendation: there's this restaurant, Dodo, that I see it's open in Brasov too, it's basically a pizzeria but it has a dish called "Tasty Strips Bacon" - bacon and RANCH on a pizza-thin-like base, which is, in my opinion, one of the most American things you might try here, in Romania. Been watching you guys for months now, always liking your videos but never commenting on them, and I admire you for your kindness and openness! Keep enjoying your life and make the most of it, wherever it may take you. Vă îmbrățișez pe toți! :)

I know neither music nor Romanian - but your singing was very moving! Partly from watching some of your clips, I decided on Romania as a destination for a vacation. As I recall, Pablo you said something along the lines that Romanian culture was broadly Latin with a goth vibe. I was sold: I really want to visit the country. So I booked my trip for July, all the way from Australia. But 2 days before my flight, I caught covid, and had to cancel. No problem: I’ll visit another time in future. Mulțumesc! It actually wierd hearing these stuff, because when I came to UK in 2012 it was so hard for me to communicate in English, and now I’m hearing u too as Americans talking in Romanian, and it just so nice that’s u like to live in Romania, that what it seems to me u know that u decided from a whole lot of countries in Europe u too decided to choose Romania 🇷🇴

Heeey, Pablo.. "Piftia" aka "Racitura" aka the jelly thingy... is made out of pork not beef. Well... mainly... there are people who make it out of fish or chicken or turkey... but the most popular ( and delicious) one is pork. Felicitari pentru cum pronuntati cuvintele; pentru multi vorbitori nativi de engleza, e cam greu sa enunte anumite litere in mod corect, dar voi o faceti foarte bine. A good trick for learning a new language is to watch movies and tv-shows and listen to music.. and in the case of movies/shows you can use subtitles so that you can understand what you're hearing ( but take it with a grain of salt, cause there are differences). Ooooh and it's also good to ask friends to translate entire phrases for you, like expressions and such, so that you can use them later in conversation, or figure out how to "decode" our grammar. It's similar to Spanish and French. Also, about foods, just because they're served a certain way in a restaurant or a friend's house, doesn't mean you can't experiment with it yourselves and figure out other combinations. For example, I don't like eating mamaliga with sarmale, or sarmale with smantana, but I do like to combine mamaliga with telemea and smantana... or putting smantana in ciorba de perisoare ( to cool it off if it's too hot, and to put out some of the fire caused by the "ciusca"[chooshkah] aka chilli pepper). See where I'm going with this?
