As a rule of thumb for me I use just enough water in them so there isn't much broth, and all the flavour sinks into the noodles and makes them thicker. It takes getting used to but if you do it's just so much better in my opinion

For me I add a “blob” of Hoisin sauce,brown sauce,franks hot sauce and add slightly more water so I can dip bread in the “jus” 😉

the sauce has to be added to the pot after it is ready. otherwise its bland. you have to stir it after a couple of minutes. the longer you leave it, the less juice you have. while its to hot to eat, soak up the sauce with buttered bread and then eat the noodles.

I half pill the lid and add the sauce then add the hot water and recover the top and leave it for however long it takes to butter a slice or two of bread then give it a good mix and see if it needs any more water and then eat when noodles are soft .ps iam a bad boy or sweet and sour flavour guy and also have one ready for after the pub.

The crazy thing about pot noodle is NONE of them actually contain any meat. Every single one is suitable for vegetarians, the "meat" is actually soya. I am somewhat of a pot noodle expert, i used to work for the company that made the sachets of sauce about 20 years ago (was one of my first factory jobs) while they cost about 50p in the shops, we used to get them for about 11p (the most expensive part of a pot noodle is actually the foil lid, then the pot itself, the food inside costs about 3p) People will argue the fact on how they are supposed to be made, but when we had the "Pot Noodle" representative come to the factory, we got the chance to ask him exactly how you should prep them. And the answer was... Take a fork and jiggle it in the middle of the noodles to make a hole down to the bottom, so the water can get all the way through without just sitting on the top (so they all go soft evenly) once you add the water (up to the fill line) let it sit for about 4-5 mins and then give it a few stirs, by then it should be soft all the way through, then top up with a bit more water. Let it sit for a couple more mins and restir, so all the water and flavour powder mixes properly and coats the noodles. Once the noodles are "cooked" you should add all the sauce and mix thoroughly. that way the sauce sits on the outside of the noodles, rather than soaking into them. Some hethens will add the first lot of water THEN add the sauce, let it sit for the 4-5 mins and then stir, which just waters down the sauce. Its more about the sauce coating the noodles, rather that being part of the "broth"

Döner is the turkish word for rotisserie. Most people say it was invented in Berlin 🇩🇪 by a Turkish immigrant. Döner Kebab 🥙 is meat (mostly beef, lamb or chicken) from a rotisserie grill with onions, iceberg salad, tomato slices, some other vegetables (maybe red cabbage) and sauce put in a flatbread/pita bread, It's not 100% correct to pronounce it Donna or Donah. The ö is like the ö in Motörhead or Mötley Crüe. 🤓Or the U in burn.

Love that use have rated them the exact way I would 😅. A couple of years ago, they removed most of the salt/sodium from them (as most manufacturers did). They tasted so much better. A guilty pleasure for some people, is to have a 'pot noodle butty', which is chicken and mushroom pot noodle on some buttered bread. Personally, I love it!

the tomato is a beautiful thing; it is healthy, there is so many things you can do with it; soups, salads, broths...one of my faourite things in the world is gaspacho and that is mostly made of tomato juice (although it does also contain other veg) in the UK, as far as i know anyway, chow mein is thicker noodles and usually has less flavour than say...i don't know...ramen or singapore noodles. ramen has a lot of soup/ broth and loads of flavour. singapore is usually very thin noodles and tends to be spicy. chow mein tends have a simple flavour and is combined with whatever ingredient you want (prawns, meat or veg)

@@StayBoozie ah well...i wouldn't know...but to be fair cup noodles of all brands don't really represent the real thing very well. did you know the broth they make for actual ramen is often prepared hours or even days in advance and the recipe is top secret to each chain. while pot noodle are nice you cannot replicate that depth of flavour.

Pro tip. Crush the noodles up with a fork then add the hot water. Cover up with foil lid then add a weight on top (small plate or piece of bread) wait 2 mins then add sauce and stir well then cover up again for 2 to 3 mins then enjoy

Loving the videos fellas! Just as an extra layer of British food weirdness, I had a mate who would crunch up beef monster munch into his pot noodles. Another thing he got me hooked on is 2 slices of toast with butter and marmite on each, then for the next layer you melt toasted cheese with a dash of Worcestershire sauce, then sandwiched in between both slices you put a mini pizza. It’s a pissed British student after the club sandwich. Now, if you want to be a middle aged British bloke who likes a pint with pub nibbles and again is pissed as a newt, try and source brannigans crisps. They come in roast beef and mustard, lamb and mint, and smoked ham and pickle flavours. You could also try mr porky pork scratchings. KP dry roasted peanuts are worth a punt and if you are brave, a jar of cockles. All the above will put hairs on your chest and give the right to grunt, fart and scratch your arse with true don’t give a damn manliness.

Making the perfect pot noodle is alchemy. Too much water?, it's drowned, it's ruined. Too little water, it's crunchy. Never fill to line. Just enough water to caress the noodles, you have to feel it. Stir well half way through and don't leave for 4 minutes.... 6 minutes minimum. Some of the powders resist the water (Doner kebab), pour slowly, take your time. 🤣

The good thing is to add less water, which makes the sauce thicker, and if you put some of these between bread, yum also you can crack an egg on top of the noodles and then add the water and mix it in. Turns it into egg noddles. 😋

Hi Boozie crew, I’m a Pot Noodle master 😂 you need to poor the boiling water up to the level and leave to stand with the sauce in, put the lid done and leave to stand, then keep stirring on and off for 5 minutes. About 6 years ago all the main flavours changed due to them taking a lot of salt out, I usually put extra salt in for the original taste. Chicken and mushroom, beef and tomato and the curry ones were the original ones…. It’s now got out of hand 😂 Lovely to see all 3 of you getting stuck in to college shite snacks. Love from UK 🇬🇧

This process can be sped up, fill to the line, stir, let stand with the lid on for a min or 2. Then remove foil lid completely, stir and zap in the microwave for 30sec, stir, zap for another 30sec, stir again and serve. It will also be hotter, obviously.

Suggestion for you to try the range of "Bachelors super noodles" and "Bachelors pasta n sauce" there's huge variety and a lot of them hit 🔥

You missed the best possible flavour out. Sweet n sour. Also you are supposed the fill the water up to the line on the inside of the pot so it the same amount every time, then add the sauce to the pot and leave it to brew for a few minutes. Not add the sauce after.

With the beef and tomato, add extra ketchup to it helps the flavour, chicken and mushroom add extra soy sauce makes the flavour stronger. The kebab one, we pronounce it like the female name Donna. You guys should try curry sauce on chips/fries, its delicious.

There are a few flavours you cant get anymore. There was a bright pink pot, which was "Nice n spicy" flavour, which tasted identical to "Nice n spicy" NickNacks (a type of corn snack, we would class as crisps) but they stopped that years ago (besides chicken and mushroom and the original curry flavour, it was my favorite). There is also the turkey and stuffing one, which was vile, luckily it only comes out at christmas. And there was a purple one, which was supposed to be Sausage and beans flavour, but it just tasted like you was eating cooked bell peppers, it only lasted a short while, before it got yeeted from stores.

Yeh mixing them helps because all the flavouring sticks to the bottom of the pot if you don’t mix after adding the water and covering for a minute or so. No wonder you thought a couple were bland don’t blame you for thinking that if it was not mixed. 👍 also yes we love curry, indians created an entire industry over here for our palette called british Indian restaurant cooking, loads of dishes created for the british palette and served in restaurants and takeaways up and down the country. BIR cooking is different to authentic Indian cooking. 👍

You're naming them totally wrong! Lol 😂 You need to put the sauce in AFTER you've added the water, mush it up, and leave it for 5 minutes , take the lid off. , leave it for another 2 or 3 mins for the sauce to thicken, and THEN & only then eat them. You definitely need to add a bit of salt to them before you add water as they reduced the salt in them a few years ago for health reasons. They're the perfect yummy hangover cure. 😋 😋

If you have lots of liquid in your pot noodle, then you either have put too much water in or not let it sit long enough. Always add all of the contents of the sachet and add it just before eating. Stir thoroughly.

You guys just violated pot noodles. You are supposed to add the sachets of sauce to the noodles with the hot water and leave it to infuse whilst it stands. And then give it a good stir once the noodles have softened and the flavour from the noodle powder and the flavour from the sauce sachets combined together is what makes the full flavour of each pot noodle

Fill before the line add all sauce then put the lid straight back on and leave for 5 minutes then stir leave again... And its perfect 👌 I add extra things to mine though More ketchup in beef & tomatoe More soy sauce to chicken & mushroom 😁 Also try it on bread and butter as a sandwich. You're making them wrong if they're watery!!!! There's a water fill line on the side, but in my opinion you should always fill a bit below it. Stir in the sauce after you've prepared the pot noodle with the water. I prefer the spicy Nongshim brand of noodles instead of these pot noodles.

I've gotten into the habit of adding dark soy sauce to the chicken and mushroom pot noodle and it's so damn good Make sure you add the soy sauce before anything else (even the water) and break them them up a little to let the noodles soak up the soy

Completely agree chicken and mushroom is the best sticky rib after. Not too fussed about the other though. Try dipping a cheese and ham sandwich in the chicken and mushroom one or just sticking it in bread and butter. Great video though
